Ep. 18: The scene of ML's confession gave me butterflies in my stomach 🙈. ML's facial expression was intense. Can leave a woman blushing.

Ok, managed to pick this up and got to Ep.13. WTF did the writer do to Zhou Mei’s character. Unbelievable! I’m pissed. This isn’t what I was expecting from her character whom they built to be independent and strong minded. Way to ruin a show.

I rarely watch K-dramas 🤭. Their scheduling is worse, I know! heheh

Arrggghhhhh! C-DRAMAS need to stop this one episode thing in the middle of a drama. WTF! Stick to one schedule already.

Somehow, I can't seem to pick up this drama again. Stopped at Ep.7 and got distracted by other dramas and life while waiting for new episodes and then just didn't care enough to come back to it. Oh well ☹️.

That was very pleasant to watch. You explained it so beautifully as well. The actor conveyed this emotion really good too. Surprisingly, I am enjoying watching him here. Watched him previously in Creation of the Gods.

People are judging the way things happened then with their modern day knowledge. I mean around the era in which this drama is taking place, girls were married off once they hit puberty/have their period.
This was even applicable all over the world. I mean do they want them to say the girl is 20, which will be considered old for a lady in that era even. SMH!

The ML was already undressed when the FL came in. The FL has been shown not to shy away from things. So, it is in character for her, I guess. All the same, the scene surprised me too.

I am quite impressed with this drama so far. It is the top C-drama, out of all those airing for me.

She would not have done that in the open or with other people. There was only the trusted aides of her and the ML.
Also, I think that scene was playing to the stereotype that women/girls' hands are more tender, especially when treating an injury.

Nope. I listened to the Chinese and understood the conversation. Because initially he was beating her until she pulled a secret method and explained it to him that she can if she wants and needs to. She just doesn’t use the method often because she doesn’t like to kill.

Yep. Complete illogical shift. And then what happens to all the enemies the war demon is making when he becomes human???? Makes no sense. I mean, no plans just become human meanwhile he has all these immortals who want to kill him.

Unbelievable. I guess they did to make plots that will lead to whatever ending they planned whether it makes sense or not.

No. The guy reminded time to when he was even much stronger (in his prime) and she was a new level beginner in the immortal cultivation. I listened to their conversation intently because that scene stood out to me. She was also very fierce and strong. Now? She’s all weak and even stupid.

Go back and rewatch that scene and listen to the conversation. It was why the man’s father (the void stage immortal) was surprised he was killed so easily.

Yep! Just complained of her character now (FL). It’s like the writers forgot how she killed and defeated all those who were even higher immortals when she was on revenge spree. She even told the guy that even if she hasn’t ascended higher, she had a special skill and talent which was how she was able to kill him in his own trap.

Now, they left their senses somewhere and made her a damsel in distress that ML is constantly saving just so they can write an unrealistic love story. I’m pissed because I’ve given them my precious time to EP.24 😞.

Why is the FL suddenly so weak???? 🫨. I mean, this is a lady who killed everyone in her way, including the super strong higher level guy when she was avenging ML’s character. Now, she’s so weak and can’t beat anybody. Such weird writing. Jeez!
