Your comment pretty much sums up this drama.

I probably wouldn't have subbed this drama if it was just another typical comedy, romcom or even just a super stereo-typical woman vs. society story, despite the first two or three sub-plots. It has a lot more personality and individuality than most of the dramas of its genre.

I enjoyed her in Parallel Tokyo, which isn't exactly a character driven show and it's a bit different from the norm, but her character goes through a lot, mentally. She did great, that's for sure.

Well said! I also liked ep6 a lot, but ep8 as well. However, even some of the more goofy episodes like ep5 and ep9 are really well done simply because the characters are written so well. And, I haven't subbed them yet, but ep10-12 are just phenomenal.

Just finished it. Not as good as Mozu, but it definitely recovered after the first episode and turned out be a decent, fun and dumb time killer.

The characters are the most interesting aspect of the show for sure and I think the movie will be a lot better, since it adapts the actual novels whereas this prequel-ish drama is an original story written by the scriptwriter and only "supervised" by the original author. So far it feels very uninspired.
