I agree that the twist is predictable, but it's not that important of twist to begin with. This drama is less about who and more about why, if you know what I mean. It portrays the complexity and fragility of what makes us who we are; and how easy it is to exploit the latter.
Everyone in this story had reasons for their actions, both consciously and unconsciously. Very strong and deep character portrayals for the most part.
Great review! WOWOW produces some of the most gripping shows in Japan and doesn't shy away from using fresh talents behind the scenes.

The fourth episode was great and gut-wrenching from beginning to end with a few sprinkles of light-hearted moments to make you feel less miserable. So many deeply tragic characters. The show is a slow-burn, but it's so well crafted... it's worth it.
