I don't really like the way the female lead in Goblin keeps calling the male lead Ajhussi. Normally I would be fine with such a relationship, but calling the male lead Ajhussi just makes me feel weird about their relationship
As a student! He didn't get to complete his schooling when he was a student due to being expelled, so now he's…
Hmm... I don't know how I feel about that. I never really liked watching student/teacher relationships. But since the male lead here is about the same age as the female lead I might give it a watch.
Nuan was the most likable and logical character imo. If Nuan was the one who made the decisions in regards to finding the culprit, they would've found her much sooner.
Sina was too hell-bent on revenge that she only considered her sister's side of the situation. I didn't really like the mystery aspect of this drama. Sina isn't the best detective, to say the least. She kept antagonizing the wrong people, creating unnecessary drama and going about the entire case the wrong way. She disregarded evidence whenever she suspected a person and was very obvious in letting the culprit know that she was onto them by accusing everyone in the Sutharak household at at least one point during the drama of hurting her.
I also didn't like Krit and Siriya's romance. I hated how Siriya was made to be this pitiful character as if she didn't do any wrong. Every time she is made to confront her wrongdoings by either Nat or Darika (albeit not in a very kind way) she begins to cry.
This is the exact problem I have with reading YA fantasy/dystopian novels (the origin of my hate for love triangles). You have this great female lead and this great male lead, but put them together = every couple in every other drama you've watched. I rarely see dramas out there anymore where you have two awesome leads that have kickass personalities and then when you put them together, their individuality is emphasized and you can see how well they complement each other rather than become this sugary unrealistic couple.
Love triangles for me go hand in hand with insta-love or insta-attraction. They're both lazy ways to add drama to the plot and take away from the main focus. Not saying it's unrealistic to love more than one person at the same time, because it can happen. I just hate it when there are love triangles where Person A is with Person B, but is still friends with Person C who loves Person A . This is plain selfish and it isn't right to lead someone one while you're unavailable. I know in dramas they like to excuse this by making Person C tell Person A to pretend they don't have feelings for him/her and to go on as normal. That is a big NO NO. Feelings don't just disappear, they need to have space until they can get over their feelings and move one. Having Person C still remain close friends with Person A is just going to give Person C hope.
