Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it’s hard to find a good war show. This is the best war show out there,…
aww. that's disappointing. I've been trying to find a good war drama like this for a few years. I've watched other, but they don't portray the atmosphere/vibe of a war drama well enough.
Honestly it is, I cant believe the rating this show has in its own country, its sooooooo under appreciated
I haven't watched the drama, but I think it may be because Korea is conservative and adding that incest plot might be stretching the boundaries of what "ok" is.
I thinking making Fang Fang dull was a lazy way to accentuate Yi Yang and Chen Qing's roles/personalities. Yeah, I could tell they made her dull on purpose, but it would've been sooooo much better if they gave her an actual personality and developed her character.
This was amazing to watch. I'm glad they didn't dub the voices, it made the characters seem more realistic. The best Chinese drama I've ever watched. Are there any other war dramas like this out there?
I didn't really like the last few episodes of the K-version of Fated to Love You, is You're my Destiny, better or worse than the K-version's last few episodes?
best remake of Itazura Na Kiss. Joe Cheng was perfect for Zhi Shu. He seemed more realistic and human here than compared to his roles in the remake (I don't consider the Thai remake "Kiss Me" to be apart of the Itazura Na Kiss Franchise)
Drama is boring episodes 3-8 (my personal opinion) but picks up 9-11 nicely and 12-14 are amazing... I have yet…
No, I'm the same. I don't really like it when Joseon Era dramas are used more as a backdrop setting to accentuate the romance, rather than emphasizing the historical aspects of that era. While I haven't watched that many dramas in the historical genres, I love it when the screenwriters raise the stakes by including political or realistically possible conflicts that could potentially occur in that period of time.
the plot is kinda boring. Usually, by the third episode, I would be hooked or at least interested to watch more, but the plot seems similar to Shopping King Louie, which I wasn't really a fan of. I never really liked the main female lead's acting in her other dramas, but decided to give this one a chance because of the glowing reviews. However, I think this drama is over-hyped by fans of Do Kyung soo or EXO. As someone who doesn't really listen to kpop, the drama was a bit boring to watch. I like my saeguks with an epic plot and romance. While this drama was alright, It didn't have that epic factor that usually draws me into watching historical dramas in the first place. *side note- romance isn't that believable or satisfying*
But this is coming from someone who's only watched the first half of the drama, so I can't be completely sure if the drama becomes more interesting later on.
