I honestly think it's because a lot of Kdramas ended up adopting more Western drama structure(multi season, mini-series…
In the chinese entertainment industry, there are many young actors who excels in both and showcasing a great deal of variety. In contrast Kdramas seem to be losing this diversity... anyway i have been watching dramas almost 12 to 15 hours a day since 3 years constantly however not anymore its been a month and i couldn't complete a single drama πŸ˜’ getting busy and busy in life.. maybe one day I'll dtop waitibg or watching 😞

and one more thing mostly k drama actors are getting old and in their late 30s and 40s and still in lead roles. k dramas have very few young actors actresses while in chinese industry its under 30s who are actually ruling their industry..

you have written almost al my thoughts.. i hated Hollywood dramas so i started k dramas. after got i couldn't watch a single English drama started many but after after watching 1 or 2 episodes i dropped them, even many famous English dramas couldn't make me complete them. and now the k dramas doing the same unnecessary science fiction, violence, sex, phyco dramas, suicide and repeating all these genres in almost every new drama.. and if they do romance either its superhuman or some other fictional characters..

in short It's becoming monotonous..

chinese dramas has variety there is a competition a race of dramas they drop new dramas almost everyday and among them one can find some good dramas in very short time whereas for k dramas you have to wait gor months and then if its disappointing 😞 anyway chinese dramas are my new comfort ATM

If you survived the last season of Game of Thrones, you’ll get through this too. 😬 (Though I wouldn’t recommend…
Game of Thrones has so much more than just love stories. There’s political intrigue, epic battles, complex characters, betrayals, supernatural elements like the White Walkers, and deep themes about power, honor, and survival...
