I found another good drama to watch. Honestly I watched it for the title. Sword and Beloved sounds so badass. I didn't watch the other 2 installments because I don't like the endings 🥲 But this time I already prepared myself. I haven't watched much dramas from Cheng Yi since I tend to go by story and not by actors. But his fight scenes are really to die for here. LYT is also so cute and pretty here! Her styling is so mesmerizing! I watched her first in ADWAD. Her acting is superb! I'm ready but hoping for HE. (Is that a pie in the sky? 🥲) The 1st five episodes were so short! I'm gonna have to torture myself for the wait! I'm loving this so much. 🥹

I don't think Li Lun is gone. Or maybe I'm just not ready to let go that he is gone. Lol. Afterall, weren't they in the dream of Li Lun? And when Li Lun disintegrated, the dream didn't end either. And ZYZ did mention he didn't have the eye of truth to break the illusion/dream.

I'm so happy to see Chen Duling taking on the role of a main lead. I loved her so much as villain and she's really so pretty. If she can make me hate her character as a villain, then she also really made me love her character here as the goddess.

She has that calm and gentle aura in here that she portrays so well.

People might find WX and ZYZ relationship slow, but I actually love this. The calmness of their relationship, the slow burn, the progress and the old married couple vibes (lol). Other relationships have a more energetic vibe to them, but theirs is like a clear lake in the middle of the forest or a calm sea that meets a shore. I don't know how to explain it, it's so gentle and calm but also not dull. WX is also not a pushover and their meeting again scene was so memorable. The cinematographe and acting was awesome! I love their scenes where they just sit together, talk, and banter a bit like at the bridge during Qing Geng X Fei arc, and at the steps of the Kunlun Mountain.

I started this drama because I want to use it as filler while waiting for other episodes for the drama I was waiting to come out but ended up being hooked. Definitely not for filler purposes anymore. I love the gang so much, I hope they have a happy ending (and Li Lun finds new friends that will be good to him.). Haven't watched the latest episodes because of work but I guess I'll marinate it until new eps come out on Wednesday. TT

Anyway, I'm writing this while working and it turned into an essay. I should get back. I just had to gush about this drama.
