I also just have to say, I'm in love with the styling of this drama. The fashion actually fits the arc it currently is playing! When they were in the village having fun its sky blue and light colors, when Fugui went to WQ manor it was a sleek black, then going to the Western Regions, the style also fits the place! The production really put a lot of thought into this, I'm so happy! The details on QT's wardrobe is also really cute! Spider webs are woven so subtly.
That was probably one of the closest people to Fugui whom he himself witnessed the death of. The first one at that. It happened at Ep 17 and we still have many many episodes. :((
He for sure felt sad about Zhang Qi but not close to home as Fei yeye. :((
Just watched some clips and leads look so good together. Ahhh!!!! I want to watch it but i don’t want to be…
That's why before I started this series I already conditioned myself. I know FSMM trend so I prepared myself and a back up Cdrama with a happy ending. But I know I'll probably be traumatized. If this is SE, this is the only drama I will watch with SE for the rest of the year lmao. 1 SE in a blue moon only.
I'm happy Rumu can be saved now. I think that's Fugui's plan with his sword meridian. I feel sad for Fei yeye, he was really a steady rock in the Wangquan family. This also made me think that everyone really tends to leave Hongye behind. It's ironic that everyone calls him a great hero but the people he wants to save were never saved by him and instead he's always the one being saved. If I were Hongye I'd never want to be Hongye. TT
The episodes are really starting to pick up pace. Arcs are not dragged so hopefully what happened with QT will not be dragged for long too. They have to travel together to the Western Regions!
I have a very important question. If one heaven and earth slash is so powerful that it makes his outer garments…
His outer garments actually flew off?! I thought it was so powerful he changed clothes. Crazy, I should watch it again for the second slash, maybe his inner garments will fly off this time. XD
it's for the greater good.. because HZ want to help HY and others against the black fox.. because the future is…
Right! We hate the black fox because its an evil demon doing straightforward evil things, but the human side have their fair share of evil too - the Alliance mainly (almost all of them hypocrite, self-righteous evil in disguise with a human face).
All the elders = good for nothing and hippocrates. Unaware they created a self fulfilling prophecy.
I agree with this. Even if the blond person isn't Fugui but we are definitely heading there all because the Alliance is doing exactly what leads there. They don't even know it. They're worse than sharing one braincell, they don't even have a braincell.
Lolll ep 17. WTH with these Yiqi people. He literally just saved them 🙄 🙄Worse than demons. Might as well…
I was shaking my head the whole time. Fugui just can't catch a break with this alliance. They don't even feel remorse, they are so self-righteous. In the first place FG released the H&E Strike exactly because of them (they were controlled therefore full of hate and negative things in their hearts) they should reflect on themselves. Tsk.
Thoughts on why Hongye keeps blocking Fugui from killing Quan Jingting:
I mainly think its because there's no justifiable "proof" that Quan Jingting is evil and doing evil things. He's already been banished and stripped of his surname so that probably counts as being "cleansed" from his previous evil doings. So if Fugui killed QJT, the other masters would criticize him, after all, they all share one braincell and haven't even thought that QJT has turned evil. They believe his delusional words. The other elders and Master has let QJT ran rampant and though Hongye is the head, he will still receive backlash and criticism and they won't let things go so easily. Just look at how the Alliance members have been behaving all this time(e.g. Blue Sky convention, Fugui's leaving, Hongye's frame up). Hongye is trying to protect the precarious balance but honestly, it's best if the Alliance turns to dust. Tsk.
We are audiences so we know everything, but characters don't. Besides, Hongye, in his prejudice, doesn't want to kill people nor his "cousin" but demons are fair game (duh).
And personally, everyone knowing that he is evil when he dies is much more satisfying. That Fugui is correct, and Hongye isn't lying.
Also, I'm not trying to defend Hongye, but he has a soft spot for me. I don't know why I can't hate him so I'm just trying to see things from his perspective too. :((
Hmm I don't know what to feel about Rumu and Long Weiyun. They look good together but their tragic background…
I actually think she went away because she's looking for cure for Rumu's broken meridians and until she can find it and cure him, I don't think she will stay with him out of guilt and being unable to forgive herself. :(
Dang, I was waiting for the whole Yiqi Alliance to actually taste some despair, be wiped out by the black fox and be proven of their stupidity. Fugui is too kindhearted. XD
