If your definition for happy ending is the leads ending together is a happy one. For me was not happy at all since…
@yani For what im reading they say its happy ending for all the couples with a wedding and a special episode. Majority of comments say the leads have great chemistry but the script it’s complete trash and everyone is dropping it after a few episodes……

I see where you’re coming from but to me it sounds just like insecure and controlling , like he is forcing her to make a choice( even verbally. There’s so many ways you can ask someone to be direct about what your feelings are. His ways are just manipulative, even the dog purchase when he doesn’t even like dogs🥴🤦🏼♀️

@yani No no, they do end up together, so if for you that’s a happy ending this one has it. Their relationship started VERY late in the drama with tge male lead basically forcing himself to the female lead , I think it was in the episode 20ish. And in the episode 30 something they breakup . They only come back together one minute before the ending.

@soocrafty i was kinda agreeing with you and thinking he had evolved a bit until the last scene, that ruined the character development for me( yet again) it was like he was bringing up something completely unnecessary and. He just wanted to control her all over again. For me it doesn’t make sense. A person can have more than one drive in their lives, more than one passion. He is just manipulative and toxic . I don’t know maybe im not seeing it from your same perspective😔

Me too, it was a very different drama to watch, i enjoyed it . But i would have loved to have watched a good satisfying ending for her and seeing how everyone who made her suffer at the beginning and ruined her life paid and watched her being successful. She literally earned it! And they gave her the weakest ending possible they could possibly have given her, saying this woman would still throw everything away for a toxic man if he asked her to….what a patronizing way of seeing us women. As if we couldn’t have it all🤦🏼♀️😅
If your definition for happy ending is the leads ending together is a happy one. For me was not happy at all since the male lead was extremely toxic and his last sentence was actually asking her which one was more important for her , her career and company or him . Keep in mind her whole persona and drama is built around her struggles to rebuild the fallen business of her family, so this question is cruel and so dumb. The drama is extremely good up-to episode 32/35 then i don’t know what the writers were doing 🥴. I still recommend you watching it 100% . Even though ending is trash.

Sorry , just listened to the last sentence to the last episode made me rate a whole point lower… yikes🥴 a guy making her choose between her career and him?? Are we back in the 1950s???!!!

Oh I really appreciate it! I loved it! Im on the last episode now. I really like a lot of the things of this series and how you say, some of it is that it is more realistic than most romantic dramas. No clichés also! I juts cant help but hate the male lead’s personality so much , each of his actions is worst than the last one….🥴🫠🚩. 5 last episodes have been the worst of the series. But overall still will give an 8 😊
If a man gives more important to his job at times over his love, he will be called greedy, selfish (For both ml,…
@Shutuplove Are you okay? Do you even know why it’s empowering for women to be independent and career focused? Do you know what history have had women within the work industry in a vastly male dominated world?!? How dare you trying to put the blame on women when they are just starting ( specifically in asian countries) to break into these roles? They are highly criticized by society when they don’t focus only on family by the way. Please go and educate yourself a bit better. You can start by a little term called PATRIARCHY, in case you are lost🤦🏼♀️.
How is no one talking how this is the most toxic male lead probably ever in cdrama land?! Controlling, emotionally Manipulating , lying, kissing women without consent ( even when drunk!?! Wtf even after they said no repeatedly) , following them home to find their address, stalking 🥴….. I always love the main leads to end up together but I have spent every episode of this drama wishing this guy disappeared forever and ever. How is the second make lead such a green flag and we have this trashy character as male lead?? Im on episode 36 and i will only call it HAPPY ENDING if this guy has the same ending as the dog 🐕. No spoilers.
