I am rewatching this after two years and I came back here just to complain again about those eyebrows and that hair!? Why they did that to the female lead?! WHY!? I absolutely love this drama but those two things distract me so freaking much, it’s painful to watch….🥴🫠

It does suit male lead roles A LOT you just don’t like him, and that’s completely Fine too, but he is great as male lead and great actor too . I absolutely love Tian Jian Ci as well, so im not comparing them btw, just saying that your opinion is not necessarily like everyone else’s, so maybe don’t hate an actor just because your taste is different 😊

I love this main lead since i watched him in Parallel world, i find him super attractive and super manly he is a great actor too. I can’t understand why in asian countries they will only succeed if they are as are you saying typically beautiful by their own standards. They just end up having a messed up low self confidence and they all have to do the same plastic surgeries to look the same…… it’s heartbreaking

Yeah, im Spanish and for me is just watching the most absurd situation ever,. I get China has a deeply patriarchal society but to the point where people can touch even being married? I can’t comprehend. I get anxiety watching those scenes. Mostly because as you saying the reality behind doors is SO DIFFERENT. They are so perverted with women!!! So hypocritical!!!

I think they are great actors, both of them and they just kissed. I really loved them in the drama don’t get me wrong, but the whole time i watched them in their romantic scenes ( although as you said it was very little focus ) i didn’t feel anything chemistry wise. And that really frustrated me because i think that was an arc that i would have loved the writers would have explored deeper, the few lines and scenes were very well written and i craved more of that storyline in general. 🥺

There weren’t a lot of romantic scenes between them but the ones they were , they had ZERO chemistry together as a couple romantically. In the car, in the rooftop bench, in the apartment… the script was there and the lines were fitting yet the atmosphere was as cold as my freezer. And it is not their acting individually, it is their chemistry together what was lacking. Such a shame. It was like watching 2 friends talking about the weather.

So basically people are only allowed to like dramas? If they don’t like them they are obligated to stay silent forever and ever and ever🤣🤦🏼‍♀️🫠💀

I agree with you 100%, but i also have to add, they had no chemistry whatsoever as a couple! They were both amazing in their roles and acting was great but romantically? I felt as I was watching 2 friends, not lovers whatsoever. Script compensated those few scenes though.

The drama was a bit underwhelming overall for me, between the lack of credibility in the sports side and the lack of chemistry between the couple I found it a bit bland. The story was good enough to keep you entertained though and the acting is good as well.😊

Let’s just say the boxing parts are going to really frustrate you. Thankfully they don’t really focus on that either….

Although sometimes some oscar winning movies don’t equal quality scripts to me either, it is very subjective as well.

But that doesn’t make sense, if the quality is better and the acting is better why would they rate it lower? Im so confused
