My prediction turned out to be correct. It seems that SFL and her father are the ultimate bosses.

Although the ML desires a simple life, the FL is correct. The scene in Wonderland, where she outlines every move she made and couldn't foresee him surviving, it becomes evident that a peaceful, simple life is not an option for the ML. This became even more clear when his elder brother killed his wife, the servants, and the nanny. The current situation, with both brothers attempting to harm him and the king, further tells the ongoing threats he faces. Additionally, the FL's concern for peace is justified. An 8-year-old boy can't survive and Li Ni can't protect him. Ultimately, if there's a lack of stability in the court, someone is bound to seek power, and the nation will bear the consequences. This raises the question: what was the purpose of all those wars they fought against Sun Jing if the nation is still plagued by internal instability.

They won't be together until other subplots are resolved, and they won't be separated either. Since it's primarily a romance drama with 40 episodes, the plot will be stretched.

The primary issue I encounter with Chinese and Korean dramas is their tendency to stretch out plots that could be resolved in half the episodes. Chinese dramas, in particular, seem to have an inclination to prolong narratives even further. This problem is something I notice in almost every other drama.

Court politics, even between brothers, can be quite treacherous. The middle brother plotted to kill Li Ni as soon as he found out about his relationship with Cui Lin. It's difficult to imagine an 8-year-old boy surviving such dynamics, even if his stupid father appoints him as Crown Prince. Cui Lin is right on this.

I hate spoilers and those who share them. As a lesson learned long ago, I steer clear of forums, Reddit, comment sections, and even show synopses to avoid any chance of spoilers. I read your comment because I've already watched all available episodes; otherwise, I wouldn't risk being here.

Episode 19: It seems the fake Cui Lin (Liu Cheng) has been taken by Jeishu. I anticipate his recovery and return as an adversary to Li Ni. The potential for him turning against Cui Lin, thinking she's deceived. The final boss between Cui Lin & Li Ni love story. :)

Right. I avoid reading synopses to prevent spoilers. I was waiting the reveal of her true identity and accidentally spoiled it for myself by reading comments. :)

What do you mean by "real Cui Lin"? Are you referring to the true leader of the army? There has been no mention of her actual identity or did I missed? My speculation was some kind of princess.

The FL is ruining this series. I'm almost at point where I want ML to move on. You can do better. Apologizing for not believing her is unnecessary, especially when she admitted she would've done the same. Additionally, the ML isn't obligated to save her army and the master, especially after already helping them once and getting backstabbed.

Nope. Married couple, nothing else. Too little time for FL (if there is one). But it's not your typical drama.

Isekai/Reincarnation is a popular trope for the last few years. Mostly there are no explanations.

The woman is the same. As for the personalities, the memories were intact and everything Jang bong hwan did was remembered by her. It's like she was in a deep sleep inside her own body and seeing everything that happened since her suicide attempt. That's why she was cursing and then running while holding her skirt because she picked up the habits from her switched identity. (Also facing grand queen dowager like that) Even though she had some of her old personality traits, it's not the same old sad unfunny coward queen. Jang bong was her savior but he was not going to stay in her body forever. That was so predictable from the very beginning.

it's happy ending, quite predictable and that's how it should be. It's hilarious that some people would think the other way and hate it.

I just hope that it's not exactly the same copy as the original. I hope they will modify the story while keeping the same concept. The romance part was awful in OG, the characters were annoying. If a teammate doesn't respect/trust the captain yet calls him "guardian angel" doesn't make sense. I hope the Korean version will take it in a better direction.
