Hey guys! Haven't been on this page in a while but I was just wondering did we ever get an update on that last post by RL on youtube where they talked about releasing some new stuff, fan events etc? Like did anyone find any crumbs on any other platform talking about it or hinting at something?
I was actually kinda hesitant to check the MDL page after tomorrow's episode since I was so disappointed and I didn't wanna offend anyone who was enjoying it coz we have seen people GET MAD lmao
I don't even have any complaints about the second CP's screentime coz having read most of the novel that's all that happens for them till this timeline, and NJ already included everything from the special chapters that were part of the current timeline so yeh. I mean I love them too but that's all that happens with them so far.
My main issue was with the way the scenes of the main CP played out. Its kinda like they tried to include all the scenes and dialogues without giving any importance to the build up and pay off arc for anything so everything felt flat. Like the hard cut from the hospital to the peanut making scene and the quick jump into the blanket (lol) didn't build up any emotions and then they didnt even play out the first time SSY was into it and wanted to do it with HY which is ??? Also wouldve loved to see the SSY father scene a little crisper and quicker to make the point and like most people said no phone call with the cousin please coz that was a time waster. The rut in the office could be played out more to show the "desire" even if they don't show the actual intimate scene. Another hard cut from the breakfast to the shirt stay clipping scene like it cut to the high point of HY clipping the stay for SSY like there was no intimate buildup for it so it didn't quite land, you can just remove it and give that time to other scenes i feel. Like honestly you dont have to include everything if you dont have the time to build the atmosphere for them all.
But since it is NJ's first project, its ok but everybody should have a right to provide some criticism every now and then!

I saw a post on youtube where it said that in the novel, hua yong puts up billboards in the city declaring his love for SSY and people assume that the owner of X Holdings is an omega in love with him and HY never correct them, soooooo cuteee <3

I read somewhere that Kitano doesnt kill anyone in the novel but he sometimes orchestrates some situations to lead to their demises. I honestly like that instead of him killing 2 students directly in the film

Also I know the movie is supposed to be graphic but did not imagine the gore to be so raw and realistically done so it definitely had that shock factor :O
