It's not only common. It is full of cliches. If you don't like cliches and A LOT of unrealistic cheesiness and romance, don't watch it. After a few episodes, however, it starts to get very repetitive... even though it only has twelve episodes. I wish they would have screened more side characters. But yeah... over all it was okay – if you are aware of the fact that this is fan service, and nothing more.
And I'm watching a lot of other popular dramas at the moment... but Father is Strange is without a doubt the show that got me hooked the most. Knowing that I'm already half-way through makes me kinda sad.
I can't believe he is the real culprit....unbelievable twist
But she mentioned that it is someone you wouldn't expect it to be... so yeah, that's a spoiler. I'm at episode 5 right now, so now I'll focus on innocent-looking characters ._.

I just saw the culprit's chin... and now I am pretty sure who he is >_<
The last few dramas I've started were a mess when it came to chemistry between the lead actors. But this one is GOLD. I'm so happy that I started watching without considering my doubts. I'm happy <3
I am not exactly the biggest fan of sageuks, but it sounds kind promising, and the ratings also made me interested. However, I am really really picky when it comes to historical dramas. If it's too unrealistic – I'm gone. If it's too cheesy – I'm gone. If it's too boring – I'm gone. Should I still give it a try?
No wonder they look alike.
"Oppa...! Oppa...!"
X''D I'm dying.
