Exactly they will praise those stories just because the main character is completely positive, and if they see even a shroud of negativity they will bash the series or piece of media which is baffling to me.

Bruhh If you have seen "Looking" which is an American series you would get those vibes only, and i think "looking" was done well by portraying the characters human and love in the big city does a splendid job in showing the true side of humans which is being selfish, if people aren't ambitious for something that makes them happy then what's the difference between humans and animals ? So it's understandable from go Young's perspective i think, people are that way so i think painting a person as completely white is wrong rather grey characters are what this world is full of so i think LITBC is phenomenal for showing the true nature of people.
