Her real identity is half monster so she has this miasma poison in her, and hes trying to purify her, while bringing her on "dates" Hes a multi-level guy with a lot of plans. Also marrying Furong would've helped completely purify her, but she was against it so badly. XZ is not the murderous one, but hes suspicious of her to see if she would bend to the evil side. You can see him observing her around the Abyss, asking if she sees stuff, etc; and her master constantly asks how she feels.
What is the secret behind shen li birth? And what condition does she have?

this is interesting because it's not mentioned in the novel. I did watch some BTS, and when they do her "thinking" scenes, the director is reading out her thoughts, so I don't know if hes supposed to be "able" to hear them, or if actor LGX is reacting unconsiously.

The drama is so early, so theres so much that hasnt happened et. In regards to now, he's not in love with her, but can't help craving her company since he's so lonely and misses her from mortal realm interactions. For story, the Xutian Abyss is unstable, and monsters keep coming out. ML and FL spent more time together, and she decided to marry since the realms need her to, move to the Divine realm and they spend more time together. ML is learning jealousy, and falling in love. This happens for quite a bit until a big monster battle midway.
Fu Sheng, the sorcerer like dude that was working for that Eldest son of the city in the mortal realm.
He mostly is the villian; he does the most bad stuff to her. Like he works for an evil spirit of the previous demon emperor, but that's more like a big monster that shows up once in the end.

It goes with his personality, he doesn't reciprocate if he doesn't think there be a future. Even as a mortal he never responded to her words, even if actions were different. With his current identity, and situation, he doesn't love her yet and also wants her to not be so sad over Xingyun. 3. He falls later, not shown in the drama yet. Love is a very strong emotion that he has not experienced before, since he's not allowed to have. Literally, acting on it will get him struck by lightning. It better be worth it...or if hes willing to risk it?
Did you read the epilogue/side stories? Theres 2 side stories, 1 of them is about her parent's love story, and the other one is a wedding between Lady Jin and her lover. At the end of the wedding, XZ proposes to SL, (they show it in the trailers, with the snowy background when he says "i can give you a grand wedding with a lot of immortals blessings"), and she responds that they better hurry because she's pregnant :)
So you probably know from the novel she was used as the last fire seal, and her dad comes at the last second to save her, and replaced her position there. She couldn't see his face because of his Phoenix fire aura, but she felt the immense sense of loss when the Abyss collapsed completely. But so much sh*t was going down what with Xing Zhi about to die, etc, it wasn't spoken about again. The drama should show the emotions better!

She knows her dad is sealed inside, but has no feelings, as never met him. She did want to know more about her mother and where her bones are, though. Next, when she sees her dad again:
