Currently, youtube has it all subbed, but the story progresses way too fast at certain points making this webdrama a total WTF, even for a webdrama standards.Still,it's funny and cute.
my friendly advice is - don't force yourself to like something just because many people like it. Maybe you can't…
Most welcome :) and I guess it happens - people have very different opinions and taste so it's only natural. Don't always 'listen' to reviews. I'm really sorry you couldn't enjoy this one, but there's plenty of other stuff to enjoy in :)
does it has happy ending .. clear answer plz :)never mind ruining it it's ok wz me
Yeah,it would be like us saying to you how to see things , when you have to see them and define them for yourself. Ladytears and many others think that the cycle just starts all over again, almost like OS achieved nothing, but in my case - I think he paid his debt and is free to start anew with the girl he loves.Of course ,the curse is waiting for next generation , but even though it's terrible,I don't think it can't be solved and dealt with.Maybe I'm just overly positive, but that's how I like to see things
They were vague asf with that. I'm assuming it helped keep her separated from him for the 3 yrs, so the cycle…
:'D hahahthat's why I asked,I also thought that kdramas had cute and funny user name, but just to make sure (and avoid being ignorant in case you said that to me) - had to confirm it :) And thank you ^_^
They were vague asf with that. I'm assuming it helped keep her separated from him for the 3 yrs, so the cycle…
Just how I see things, not necessarily true...But I kinda took everything I could to the maximum positive...I think that OS paid his debt to the tree by suffering, losing his loved one and technically killing his old self along with his memories... The whole point with the tree is going through similar situation as that woman who triggered the curse..so OS did that.. he turned his paper exam-and is free to go.But of course the classroom always awaitsnew students and inevitably the cycle will start again (only with next generation I think) and I think that the curse is terrible , but there are ways of dealing with it and finding way out...
They were vague asf with that. I'm assuming it helped keep her separated from him for the 3 yrs, so the cycle…
But they met even before the charm was blown away...at the cafe that night - so I wouldn't say that's the case. You interpreted them meeting as a bad thing, but I interpreted it as a good thing. I think you can love and miss someone so much, but accidentally pass right by them without even ever knowing about that... It is said that love is timing. If you meet the right person at the wrong time, it's still not going to work.So I think she had to keep that charm as a bit of luck to meet him exactly at that moment - because that moment is crucial - without it -they wouldn't start again. He just remembered woman on a beach - he doesn't know who that is. YR being lucky to be there exactly at that place at that time - made OS realize she is the one he is searching for.She is the woman from his flashbacks, his lost love . Before that he wasn't sure because he couldn't remember anything and he thought she just said whatever cause she is drunk
It's been months since I watched this show and I'm still annoyed over the fact that I didn't enjoy it. Everyone…
my friendly advice is - don't force yourself to like something just because many people like it. Maybe you can't like it in this moment, maybe in this period, maybe you'll never like it.And it doesn't even matter. At certain moments I don't feel like listening to some of my favourite songs.I couldn't bring myself to start reading certain books that I now hold very dear.
wouldn't care to know what u consider a good female lead . pmy in healer wa one of her best roles . very non cliche…
but on what exactly did you base your expectation of her fighting by his side? It took years and years of training even for Healer. If it was so easy, then anyone could be Healer. They are cliche, but so what?Dramalend is full of those. Her character is at least somewhat realistic. Because she is warm and bright - she is likeable. Even so more likeable for me because of her 'uselessness ' as you would say. Because it takes more guts for certain small things she did despite her being traumatized, terrified, choking and almost dying - then it would ever take for Healer to do his missions and take on xx enemies. And even Healer recognizes and acknowledges that and admires her for that. But you expect her to somehow magically get over her traumas from childhood (which most people never get completely over ) and develop impossible fighting skills almost overnight ( I imagine over 1 or 2 years since they met to the end of drama). I don't really get your rant. Maybe people should reconsider why do they expect certain things and is that expectation realistic? Not to mention at the current storyline it would be kinda random and out of character.Instead of hating on character why couldn't you go over her good points again and enjoy in them.Don't you think that things would lose their charm if they all were according to your taste? Learn to appreciate them as they present. Don't expect water to do what fire does and call it useless simply because it can't light up the candle. I see that word - useless - way too many times. It kinda worries me a bit.
Although, it would be nice if they made Healer2 and after some years Ji An , according to the story and situation(not throwing it in randomly) developed and eventually got to fight next to Healer.I admit I like that idea. But even if not, I like her equally - I don't think it's about physical power or money or influence - it's about inner power and she got that. But you know - almost anyone except Healer would just get kidnapped, saved and they all cried. Are they all useless?
WARNING: An Essay Reply (no one has to read I just felt inspired )
Why was Healer trusted - by whom exactly? Of course that Ji An and Moon-Ho will trust him, and just with that you've got whole Someday News, their connections and their followers and audience.Ajumma is practically Healer2 or ''hacker healer'' and because she has connections and past story with the police, and especially because that detective is interested in her - Healer got backed up by police this time. Why wouldn't he be trusted? He got tested and passed many times already.Look at it this way: just as many people can be gathered for a specific event on Kim Moon Shik or Elder's side, it can be done for Healer as well. And honestly, the detective saw for himself that something's off when he discovered that there's no fingerprints nor blood on that pipe. They just mysteriously disappeared.
The whole battle is - who will get media, public and police on their side this time - which resources will they use, how will they play their cards and would someone lose life in the process?
I know the whole idea with Russia and bacteria can seem random ( it was quite random and funny to me when they tried to imitate Russian and Healer somehow got the idea on the language from that and recognized the background noises from the phone call ?! XD ) but if you overlook that it's natural that someone powerful as Elder would deal with stuff like that and would be interested in that.He would deal with anything that has a potential and he would use any opportunity that he can benefit from. Therefore, Healer, Moon-Ho and their team have to think few steps ahead. If they make a single mistake and can't even bargain with Elder they either lose their life or their freedom. So in conclusion to that - I liked this idea.If you think about it - writers hit the wall when Elder openly counter-attacked Healer. He surrounded Healer well, just like I thought he would, and it was hard to come up with an exit pass.(and their direct battle was inevitable) -so - Implementing the idea that's not too ridiculous - that can adjust well to the story -and using that as Healer's way out of Elder's grip and his happy ending - ask yourself - is it that bad ? If you can come up with a better ending, spit that fire - cause I'd love to see that. It's flawed yeah, but remaining solutions are: 1.Healer really dies 2.He works for Elder. He would find Healer wherever he goes -Whatever he would bring to Elder can't really guarantee that he would leave them alone and allow them to operate as they please and that he won't threaten his loved ones so he can't bargain with him on a longterm( unless he accepts to obey Elder and be his cute little puppy marionette, lose all his freedom and become a part of that toxic system whilst being involved with xxxx deaths ). So fake death is great news if you don't want less flawed, but a sad end. With Healer gone, all his connections and teams shatter and are not a threat or of any interest to Elder.
Even if it's flawed, and many things were left unfinished, it was really interesting, fun, sometimes bitter and sad, sometimes so sweet and funny. I find it really touching, a bit philosophical and inspiring. I enjoyed every second of it and I love this drama with all its imperfections.I really wish they didn't forget about Healer leaving fingerprints around - but since that was mostly in Moon Shik's house and since he's kinda related to MS, I don't think it's a big deal. When he didn't know anything about MS he would wear full gear - gloves, covered his face and even had black glasses, so he was careful. Later, when he learned about MS I guess he knew that he can go that far with no consequences.
Lastly- the problem called 'not so smart and undeveloped Elder' - well, if they made him too smart - it would be impossible for Healer to outsmart him and win - and thus - giving us all the bitter taste of a sad ending again.I think they played the card - 'it happens even to the best'(worst in this case). No one is all-knowing and it's natural to make some kind of mistake sooner or later.Even Elder I guess (who is probably just another subordinate actually -even if you eliminate him- they would just bring another Elder - which means - what? He is a royal guard, but he's not the king. I'm not saying he's not important, but he's not that important and that wise as to not make a single mistake. And I think that you're more prone to make mistakes when you manage a huge number of tasks. While Elder needs to focus on many things, Healer gives priority to a very few.And at that moment- probably to the single task named- exit. Also, since Healer openly said what he truly wants - he showed his weak spot to Elder and agreed to work for him - Elder probably thought that there is no way for Healer to oppose him this time. After all - he did hand him the phone(how could Elder know if there were 1 or 2 phones in the box?)Elder's logic is like this - if he does the job - good boy, if he opposes - he will bear the consequences. There were no signs that Healer would oppose him and he had whole teams that were monitoring him - he even got a warning - if you don't solve this you're done - just because Healer wasn't fast enough in their opinion.Almost everything was covered, but you can't cover what you don't know.On the surface, it really seemed like Healer is cooperating until the very last step when he stopped the killer. They didn't know about the small enemy team hiding in front of them and the connections it has.Because everyone working for the small enemy team did everything so smoothly - they won.Sadly, their victories can barely make a single dot on Elder's map. And villains didn't develop? I don't get this one. Why do people demand development? In real life, people usually stay pretty much the same their whole life.Especially if you're ''bad'' person aka person stuck on making bad and poor decisions never really seeing toxicity of that choice or never really broadening your view, never truly progressing.Or seeing but being unable to win the battle against yourself and making better choices. If you consider Moon Shik enough of a villain they showed quite a bit of what kind of person he is, they showed that he did not see other choices but to obey the Elder + he was blackmailed and once he started working for Elder he completely lost his former, innocent self. He was involved with terrible deeds - but he mostly orders things to be done when he absolutely thinks is necessary. He's not exactly a ray of sunshine, but to be honest, I thought his character would be more malicious. And Elder's story, I wonder if it's even possible to tell it? ... I'd love to read series of books it would take.
if anyone ever reads all of this, thank you for your time XD you can ask me more while I'm still inspired ~
Guys, can anyone help me find a song ? The one that goes something like -you'll only think of me- and is playing in the background in EP1 when Seung Yoon opens the door around 12:20
it's amazing how this drama special turns out to be very realistic (that's life moments) and such a meme at the same time.
