This is sheeerrrr NONSENSE . I mean what reason does she have AGAIN to keep lying,Denying her feelings and pretending…
hahahahah to put it simply, LSS is like traumatized girl after a toxic relationship : loves him, but doesn't know if he deserves a second chance. That's what's up XD
I agree with everything esp the first point! My heart broke when he begged her to trust him and that he didn't…
Very well said <3 I love how you grasp things with such maturity. Honestly, "I can fix him" is very unrealistic trope, only that person can fix him/herself. You can give support, love and understanding, but ultimately, if that person doesn't see the toxicity and acknowledge mistakes, then works very hard on mending those, and acting different... it's useless.
TTJ did slowly start to change and he definitely is getting slightly different, especially because of his love threads... but he wasn't totally unreasonable in the first place. I caught myself thinking how he sometimes has more heart and is more just than majority of others. His problem is his trauma. His suffocating fear that he will be left alone and/or betrayed, and once he suspects this, he acts cruel. That didn't entirely change to this day, even though, yes, he is getting slightly softer over time, he still has a lot to learn and improve. Overall, I can't really blame him, because, actually, he's doing good if we take into consideration how full of misery and traumas he is. I see the potential in him to overcome all of that, but simply, there is a timeframe for mission, and LSS has to follow the mission, that's it. They can't risk the awakening of the Devil God. Sad thing is, it's only delayed like this... not fully stopped... so much sacrifice and pain... just to delay it...
Someone said a hidden meaning behind "I hope we never meet again" is her referring to never meeting the Devil…
this is really nice explained Jacky :) plus you guys can imagine how trauma and hardships got to her finally. The whole time she did carry a lot of burden and resentment for TTJ, even though she cared and loved him, there was resentment she couldn't show ( we only take glimpses of it here and there)... which gets deeper and more intense over time if never spoken. So, in my opinion, it was for multitude of reasons, plus of course, they wanted to give us tragical/ very dramatic scenes lol.
But you know these types of scenes in such dramas are more on a level when I tell my bf I hate you today when we fight, and we fix it and kiss afterwards XD hahahah Don't take it too seriously.
Devil lord is a separate entity, he will exist for as long as there's suffering and bad karma in the world, he…
Good questions! I also wonder what does it take then to kill the Devil God... I mean it's like trying to kill something all present, something that will always exist... unless the answer lies in something like... negating it all with love and understanding... idk...
Funny thing though... TTJ is like " what Devil God? That's ridiculous!" Boi you've been talking to him for a while now... It was never weird to you how you have a very strange voice in your head?
I really think the way people are feeling about LSS right now ( Disliking her) is exactly what the writers and…
I like how you described that about mental illnesses so well, that's what I've been thinking the whole time. But I agree with liarsh, I don't think writers are intending on people to hate LSS, in fact, it's not hard to understand her if you take how traumatizing, difficult and draining it all is for her, and if you take into consideration that she ultimately have to follow the mission.
In my opinion, she was just unnecessarily cruel with her words while killing him ( I guess her resentment + trauma finally got to her ? idk .. or it's just for pure additional drama effect lol)
That line makes no sense to me. She already found out the truth and obviously she loves him. Thereโs no more…
of course it has to be super dramatic xD she wants to say how torturous this all was "at this point you resent me too much, and I resent you; I paid all my debts, let this end. I don't wanna suffer something similar again."
Of course she loves him, she's just tired and hurt and traumatized from everything. He is used to toxic environment, she's not. She constantly misses her home where things are normal and bonds are healthy. This whole mission is probably very traumatizing for her, and heavy on her heart, on top of that, like any toxic relationship, it's very hurtful and exhausting, even though you love.
I don't think that writers are intending on people disliking her. I think her POV is given as well, she said it…
Why's that a mistake? She simply wanted to let her brotherly figure flee and live normally. Even though life in imprisonment isn't always death, it still can be, due to poor conditions.
I mean, I get it why it's a mistake in a sense of "don't provoke TTJ", but in general, I simply don't see it as much of a mistake ( especially if it was done successfully ). In my opinion, he went too far in making her kill SL.
Just disband his army, scatter them around and let SL live somewhere in exile. But I get that can't be how the story goes lol
Novel TTJ deserved to lose her and live in regret since he was a peice of dung. Drama TTJ did not deserve to watch…
I agree, but kinda... drama TTJ was still a piece of work and made her kill with her own hands... that's quite bad in my opinion... I just accepted that they will have very toxic relationship and that it will take a lot of painful turns of events to finally reach the level and middle ground on which they can thrive on.
As much as I understand this TTJ ( and could never bear to read the novel when I learned stuff about novel him from other people) ... and as much as I like this one from the drama ( while closing my eyes to his bad sides), I still think that he needs to have this experience. How unimaginable it is for him to be without her. So that he understands her more and sees who she is for real, so his love becomes more meaningful, less willful and controlling.
He loves her, but he is still very doubtful and spiteful, controlling, scheming. He doesn't have a full picture, and he doesn't fully understand LSS, so there is a lot of space for growth, until his love and feelings become what they need to become.
Moreover, I see no other logical way of that arc wrapping up.
All that being said, my heart breaks for him while he is suffering and searching for LSS.
