Thanks for the replies. Managed to finish episode 9 by skipping a bit more than I thought was necessary for me. Feel like I'm gonna stick with it for now but having been away from longer series for a while and restarting my sci-fi novel fever with Andy Weir books had certainly lowered my patience for slow burn stuff. Started this series mainly because TXW's new series and The lament has piqued my interest in longer form series this week. Shall see which one I finish this year.

Hi. Been a while since I've written any comments under a series but feeling a bit perplexed I thought I should ask this: Is it just a me-issue, non-issue or maybe someoneelse's-issue as well to find it so hard to be invested in this story (trying to start the fifth episode)?

Loved it. Watched in one sitting. Recommend.

All in all it was such a dissapointment. Waiting 3 fricking years for it I expected a lot more from it. It felt like a long neverending trailer for season 3. The last few minutes saved the series for me or else I would not even take a peek at the next season.

Sorry I do love gore, even the King of Pigs I wouldn't consider gory at all (at least by my standards). Thanks for pointing out one of the reasons why I maybe should focus on what channel each series airs on. I do tend to like TVN OCN series more afterall. But SBS has its perks too. Maybe you can recommend a few worthy SBS series to watch.

Hope it improves, they could've done it so much better. It felt a bit sloppy at times, not enough tension or even thriller. I wanted it to be so much darker more like the King of Pigs. Also one episode per week(?!), it's not that great that's worth the wait. I guess I shall see at the end whether I end up watching it or not.

Currently trying to finish the last 3 episodes five months in. It turned out exactly like PMY last series I`ve watched ( sasaeng one). That one was also hard to finish. Maybe I should avoid PMY for a year or two even if I do not have anything against her.

Is this the Korean equivalent of Emily in Paris? I chose to not watch the 3. season of that...

Just picking it up from ep 8 after more than a year long avoidance. Starting ep 10 in a min. I wanted to ask if someone can be so kind and gave me a bit of a heads up: that shaman will die!? Really hope she does in an extremely violent way.

Me not needing a second season of it makes perfect sense, okay-dokey maybe just for me. I did not enjoy it that much to hope for a second season. However I did enjoy watching how quickly rose to stardom. About the cliffhanger ending, well, it was not intriguing for me I did like the "red hairdoo".

I need a date, a proper date to look forward to. I hope season 2 comes out this year.
