I usually love OCN, but this was so over the top, just sci fi heaped on testosterone. So far it's one massively…
Yes... This surely describes most of this genre "finests". Still hoping that after the whole lot of anticipating I did it will turn out just fine if not great... 1 ep is still not enough to judge (for me).

The first ep felt like a warming game... I hope to see the real match soon.

"BAD GUYS. "Its about time for me to complete this drama. It's the genre I love, reviews are good, and I like most…
I can guarantee you're not gonna ever regret watching that series.

Scorpio: Watched the Healer felt that was not that special still a classic.
As for CT due to the mixed reviews still just considering and feeling a bit cautious about my never-ending on-hold list... Maybe as an avid non-believer Zodiac signs are just not for me.

Me neither and maybe it would have been better if I never did... Cringeworthy even the poster...

and that's why my theory is that she survived being dumped into the lake and grew up into Jun Ji Hyun's character!
Noooooo... Just let her be dead for anyone's sake!!! She deserved that ending no need to revive her at all, villains shall not conquer anything at all. It's annoying enough that after all that she had done she is still respected in death by the clueless people...

Wow I think you are the only person I have met on MDL who dislikes Signal. I dropped the show on episode 4 because…
I cannot say that I hated the entire series but without her character it could have been so much better and for the record I completed it . (I wrote my first review on this website about Signal) And I cannot agree more on that the first episodes were quite boringish, for me the 9th episode brought something worth to watch to the screen. The Ost was the Best...

I can relate to must of the stuff you mentioned in your article. Korean series tend to over- idolise male characters while the females are simply there as accessories. My most annoying (recent) female character is defenitely Cha SooHyun from Signal , she was just a nuisance throughout the series for me and the forced chemistry-less over-obsessive romance melo she portrayed so well ruined the entire series for me. Character development or not she was just as annoying in the past as in the present. Nice article btw.

Finally at episode 9 something interesting happened... I saw the light at the end of this tunnel...
There is a possibility that after finishing both they end up with an 8. Still as I remember Tunnel was far more engaging and not as draggy (still have 4 ep to finish it). As for Signal only left the last 2 eps but struggling with it, I'm starting to draw my conclusion: probably not gonna watch the second season (if it ever happens). I love serial killer stories more than draggy melodramas with a little bit crime in it, that is the main reason why Signal just does not suit me well and Tunnel can be my cup of tea.
On Master in the House Mar 8, 2020
Just finished season one (the first season) and I cannot be more satisfied with it. I feel like I learned a lot just by watching the masters speaking about their hardships and even felt comforted by their words (Lee Deokhwa, Go DooShim, Shin AeRa, Kim SooMi and Jeon InKwon sabunim). The epsiodes with athletes masters showed their diligence and strict work-policies and gave me enough laughs to last a lifetime (Lee DaeHo, Lee SeungHoon and Park JiSung athletes). The music legends (Kang SanAe, Lee MoonSae...) appeared in the first season gave us heartfelt performances and a delightful and special insight in their past, present and future. Finally the masters of everyday life Seol MinSeok lecturer and Noh HeeYoung brand strategist revealed their stories to success presenting to us bravery, perseverance, tolerance and inner peace throughout. I'm grateful to all the masters, this program and the members especially for giving us something that is worth to watch. (Yoo JunSang, Park HangSeo,Cha InPyo and Kim ByungMan love you)

I like dark deeper dramas more than anything but even I struggle to find one that is engaging enough for me in the recent era of Korean series. However I found some hidden gems: SAVE ME 2, FOREST OF SECRETS, CHOCOLATE, Prison Playbook, Life on Mars. Of course I've watched fluffy ones too but those are the series which I rarely mention as one of my fav. simply because their content is so overused that it became a mass product which have not got any distinctive parts or special meaning at all. I think the industry is going in the right direction, away from the "soaps", but the goal is still far away. For the oldschool-lovers I can only suggest to try the new concepts or the remaining forwarded fluffy stuffs if those are still not enough then CDRAMAS, LAKORNS are the only option. (March will provide some very anticipated series: RUGAL, WHEN THE WEATHER..., HALF OF HALF... I believe that in among these everybody can find at least one for their tastebuds. )

On Lee Deok Hwa Feb 22, 2020
Person Lee Deok Hwa
I came here after watching Master in the House ep. 29-30. Whenever I watched him act or appear in a variety show before I just thought of him as a man who is worth remembering, he seemed to always had his thing perfectly synched, a real man of charisma who does not know shame at all and is very approachable as a person. After watching those 2 episodes (while bawling my eyes out) my respect for him reached a new level. I send my deep respect and best wishes for him and his loved ones.

I sorta liked it and I feel like I'm gonna need to apologize for it. I have not watched the anime nor read the manga though... It was enough plot for me, my kinda gore and pretty watchable. Still shocked about the rating but after watching the live action of FullMetalAlchemist and having been very dissapointed by it after watching the anime I guess I could understand how someone may feel about this one. Still recommend this one.
