glad to hear the last ep is “expanded”. for anyone that ever watches drama live on mbc , do you know if this 85 min airing time will include commercials or breaks in between shows? Looking at the broadcast schedule, there is a show that immediately airs right after the “85 min airing time” . OR is it only 5 minutes longer? i hope its actually a 85 min long ep considering they decide to air it earlier.
I'm disappointed at Yeo Hwa's reaction to learning her husband is still alive. If I had been stuck in a house…
Honestly I love everything about the drama until the last 20 min of ep 10 especially because it made the plot draggy and I was getting a little impatient. I was also disappointed that they play off that “first night “ scene for laugh. Like I know they still want to include a bit of comedy to balance everything and its in character for her to react that way but I would have prefer her to have a different reaction like you said consider the gravity of her situation. Up till this point the comedy of the drama never felt out of place but because the audience knows already his death was fake and he’s aware of this scam marriage, I could not even enjoy that scene at all. I do not have any doubt that the husband will help our couple come together and be one of those who bring down his father. Hopefully they will pick things up the next ep once Finance Minster’s wife confesses. At ep 10, she should already found out EVERYTHING about her father in law and brother . I need her to become upset and vengeful and destroy this family
I’m not defending the character but I think he’s trying to protect her.
This is one of the many things I appreciate about this drama. The conflict feels real and the characters are complex and imperfect. I love that he sincerely thanks her for saving him instead of scolding her.
Yay Im so glad our three leads finally meet and will start to put the together the pieces of puzzle they each found. But I’m so dreading what this will mean to Yeo Hwa . I cant imagine the pain, torment, and agony Yeo Hwa will have to face when she finally finds out her brother is long “dead” AND she has been a fake widow for 15 years! This huge betrayal would take a toll on anyone but I hope she stays strong and not lose her liveliness and spunk. My heart is already hurting imagining a depressed Yeo Hwa .
I’m not defending the character but I think he’s trying to protect her.
which was why I was SO glad that Merchant Jang told him how his words must have hurt her… to be told to sit within these walls and have her life sucked out of her. I was happy in this ep that he was starting to finally realize the weight of his words and agonize over it which was why he didnt scold her when she snuck out with the mask
Does anyone know the meaning behind lovers meeting up at seonghwadang (which i guess is a shrine) in saguek? and why sooho was so upset about her going there? lol
The chemistry and tension between the leads here remind me of Lee Soo Hyuk and Kim Hee Sun in the drama Tomorrow. please don’t butter me up and disappoint me in the end with just a hand shake!
I dont really have hope for even a tiny bit of romance but all thats a lot of physical contacts in a span of 4 eps 👀… Please dont just build up all these tensions and then boom nothing happens. My widow deserves a happy ending and……real abs !
We need more comments like this and less comments on who the better ML is.
i never watch every episode thinking, "hmm this guy or actually that guy should end up with her..." because I already enjoy them as individual characters regardless of what they say or do for XY... but if I were rank who I enjoy the watching the most on screen (NOT who i ship her with) CX > FFB> XL >Jing. I wont lie, I still watch any show for romance and here who XY chooses does not bother me because I actually see the evidences or the reasoning behind her decision, so I was able to enjoy the sweet scenes. Great writing!
Omffgg I love Xuan and XL interaction in ep. 30 anyway this is why they’re my favourite
Am I the only one finding the interactions between 3 male leads whenever any of them encounter each other exciting? jing&xl in ep 29, and cx & xl in 30...
It makes me sad seeing the comment section. Initially I wanted to avoid this drama like a plague when I saw the posters. Oh gosh another idol-fantasy drama, and a reverse harem at that? I had no time to watch 4 dudes fighting over a girl for 2 seasons. Im glad I was proven wrong. I did not know that this was based on a novel so after 4 eps, I was completed hooked on the plot and the characters. The ensemble cast, from the main and supporting roles, I just love how everyone is complexed with flaws. So rare for xianxia land these days to portray the characters not having "love" as their main priority and self-sacrificing everything for it.... because c'mon really.. you immortals/ demons live hundreds of years and you have no other purpose in life? I'm so grateful the theme does not center around that or trying to push that in your face. SO REALISTIC. Everyone places their well being and safety first and foremost, has motivations and responsibilities, and does not compromise easily just for love which makes the plot of the drama exciting and setting of the drama so grounded because complexed character=complexed dialogue/plot....BUT this comment section turns the drama into something that the actors, writer, and production team not intend it to be. I like to discuss with people when I really find a drama unique and intriguing, it sucks i have to skip it for this drama because all i see is passive-aggressiveness and people only enjoying this drama for the romance.
suho supporting yeo hwa’s head with his shoulder, the same side where he got hurt. My heart…
we dont even know when sub will be released at all
Her caressing his face has my heart melt
