Title The Glory
I love love this husband-wife tandem 🔥🔥
Me too! I love they are working together to burn someone else's home. Figuratively and literally.

Ok, either this drama just went full makjang on us or, and my money is on this scenario, our leads are faking…
Hanyan looked shocked when it was revealed, just like I did, because I completely forgotten the fact that the adopted son in in his forties. So what I'm worried about is the fact that the dad took advantage of it and started to mess with her mind. But I really hope it's a ploy to lower the dad's guard and she remembers what they came there for.

Prince Yan to his so called mother: "Cut the crap!! Did you abandon me for my own good?!" 👏👏👏 He wanted…
We'll see. Im happy to be proven wrong. It'd be sad for Yu Jin. Her statement "a mother wouldn't abandon her child" doesn't mean anything to me because she did abandon him. And when they reunited again, she didn't want to be associated with him and called him a jinx. So for me, those words are just her guilty conscience for what she did to him.

She hates him because he is supposed to be a bad omen. She didn't want to get inflicted because of him.

Ok so the previews are not good for the emperor. Is he that blind to his palace affairs or is he not able too…
He's probably thinking that maybe Yu Jin marrying Mingyue can secure Yu Jin to the throne. I do think he wanted Yu Jin to be the Crown Prince, but Yu Jin is too powerless and hopelessly in love with Jiang Si, so he is training Yu Jin for the future. From what I see, the emperor seems to be pushing Yu Jin towards the throne, step by step.

I think they attempted to make us, the viewers learns the past life along the way, instead of starting the story…
I prefer this way too simply because I'm not patient enough to wait for their past lives stories to end. This way, we are getting to the meat of the story right away. And so far I think the flashbacks are pretty straightforward and still good enough to understand.

Wait until you see her in Sword and Brocade. So many hair pulling moments when it comes to her.

There is no hate on the actors and this isn't about the haters but about the plot or I guess directing? I've watched…
I think they attempted to make us, the viewers learns the past life along the way, instead of starting the story with her past life. Doing that certainly would make us feel intrigued about what had happened back then, but also ended up make us feel disconnected with the characters and their motivation.

The one who saved them could be past him (Jing yuan) not present him(Fan Yue).
I remember Fan Yue lost his memories 10 years ago, which is also the same year Bai Xi and Bai Shuo almost got killed by a demon. What if, because Bai Shuo was in danger ten years ago, that awakened Jing Yuan in Fan Yue's body and took over him for a while before he lost his memories. That's when his grandfather realized that Fan Yue wouldn't be able to avoid his destiny.

The rise of Ning also hv a very sweet ending, I mean the main couple really deserve to be happy after hardest…
The Rise of Ning would have been perfect in my book had the drama didn't focused the last episode on that obsessive SML. And also, I kind of wish to see their courting when she became Wei Yining a bit longer. It was too short and I barely could savor it. Anyways, I'm glad it was a HE although the HE is also too short.

Probably because he never sees Song Mo as his own son but rather his enemy's son. The way he described marrying…
After all, Song Mo is still an extension of Jiang family, so he won't be able to separate that hatred. Not when he has a love child with his beloved.

Hmm so at least we know that song han has a different mum but I still will never understand the hate their dad…
Probably because he never sees Song Mo as his own son but rather his enemy's son. The way he described marrying Jiang Huisun as marrying "enemy's sister", I'm thinking that maybe he never sees her as his wife, but rather an enemy that he has been tolerated for a long time. And that includes Song Mo, even more so when Song Mo would rather choose to stay with Duke Ding (the uncle) who is his enemy. In a way, his hatred towards Jiang family extends towards Song Mo despite Song Mo being his real son. For him, the only family he has is with Madam Li (whatever her name was) and Song Han (his love child with his beloved).

there will be no war arc?
I don't think there will. We even haven't begun the Haishen Island arc, which takes quite a large portion too. So yeah, I think the LA will end after they receive their mark on their forehead.

I think for LA, this is actually quite good.. It give me the same feeling of donghua more or less.. just it cant…
I think the LA did a good job with the details. It's just that a few of the things they changed made me slightly... disappointed, such as how they choreographed the fights and Tang San's characterization. But oh well, I'm not going to dwell on them.
On The Land of Warriors Dec 13, 2024
Sad to see that this LA's reception isn't as good as expected, considering the donghua is so well-known and loved. As a big fan of the donghua, I did feel disappointed on a few things, but it didn't retract my enjoyment watching this LA. So, knowing that we'll probably going to see the story ends at Haishen Island arc made me slightly sad, because who knows if we ever going to see the continuation due to the reception, even more so because all the actors grew on me.

If not for Liu Yuning casted as Poseidon, I wouldn't be anticipating the god test arc even included in this season.
What if the last episode shows us that the seven devils is getting the tests from Liu Yuning himself and the LA ends with the seven devils overlooking the Haishen Island, ready to conquer their next journey. 😅

What annoys me the most is that they still included unnecessary scenes such as Ma Hongjun and Chenxiang's kidnapping…
I hope that's what's going to happen with Qian Renxue. We already are tight with finishing the whole story, her scenes would feel redundant.

Yeah. I already planned that after this LA is done, I'm going to rewatch the donghua (which I already did a few weeks before the LA started 😅).

I wonder if anyone has ever seen Tang San wearing Sea God costume? I remember seeing the Seven Devils with the Sea God totem on their forehead, but I couldn't find anything about Tang San being SG.

What annoys me the most is that they still included unnecessary scenes such as Ma Hongjun and Chenxiang's kidnapping…
From what I heard, Quan Renxue's actress has guest starring role, maybe she won't be taking too much time. And speaking about her, I wonder if we going to get her fight with Tang San when he is filling up his hammer's rings. The thought that these arcs going to get rushed fills me with agony already...

Watching EP 29's previews makes my anxiety go off the roof...Gosh, we just entering a new arc?!!! 7 Eps for Tang…
What annoys me the most is that they still included unnecessary scenes such as Ma Hongjun and Chenxiang's kidnapping incident. Why oh why did they add that when we didn't even have that in the donghua. I wont be mad with this addition had the LA got many episodes left, but we haven't even enter the Genxin City arc, and it seems it's going to take two episodes for that. Ugh... I was so looking forward to Haishen Island arc, but now I feel like we will be massively disappointed.

I've watched this particular scene for so many times already in the donghua, and cried every single times. I thought I was immune after all these times. And yet I still cried watching that particular scene in the live adaptation.
