I also tried adding Pinggyego once and got rejected, but at the same time there are so many other youtube shows I saw listed here... so maybe we were just unlucky with Pinggyego :(
No wonder the cinematography just won the grand prize at daesang. I'm still surprised the rating is only 7.2 though,…
I think because there's something about the movie... I am not sure how to put it in words, but watching it at the same time I felt it's restrained, sombre and distant. I can imagine it could feel flat or boring to some. But for others who find artistry in this approach, it will be immersive and intense. I think it's just that kind of movie. :)
I was also happy to see it got awards for cinematography and best movie :)
How can you have romance as one of the themes when the lead couple has not kissed for 9 episodes and there are…
Why would a kiss be an essential ingredient at all? I personally enjoy slowburn. And it’s more realistic here. They’re both responsible adults working together and they’ve just met. They’ve also both been hurt in the past and it calls for some caution and hesitation. I like how this was portrayed in the drama. :)
I know that many people won't like what i will say but I'll say it anyway... The MDL's users( not all ) loves…
Exactly. This is more slice of life dealing with some realistic life/love issues spiced up with some silliness. But it seems people expected classic genre rom com. I think the PR was a bit misleading. :))
I agree it took some tome for the show to find its tone so the beginning felt a bit uneven, but it’s a light, heartwarming watch for me, that also has me ponder some things about relationships, so I’m enjoying it.
Should i continue or just drop it? I force myself to watch it until episode 2.
Hmm if this helps, I actually liked it more and more as it went on, when they toned down the comedy (imo) and focused more on softer emotional moments.
The cinematography in this one is pure work of art. I had high expectations for this from the promo shots, and it did not disappoint - in fact some scenes even surpassed it.
The atmosphere conveys calm determination. The frequent exchange of scenes in the first half did feel a bit like browsing through events, but things intensify midway through the movie and ultimately I could feel the weight of the story. Simple but memorable, really gets you thinking about the mindset of the people who dedicated everything to the goal of independence.
Too many people bitching here - show is awesome and has every emotionI am just not happy about show trying to…
Agree, and it's a breath of fresh air to see a positive comment. (except I also like Na Rae, as in I see her as flawed but not a bad person, and I feel like her character has grown during show.)
I feel some things could've been done differently perhaps, but I still appreciate it being fresh and atypical in some ways. Once it settled its tone to humane and emotional with subtle buildup, I really got sucked in and find it quite lovely. :)
also, I hate this trope where the divorced lady doesn't tell her parents her ex cheated on her or whatever. and…
yes, this bothered me too... although I also wonder if she's not saying it because she knows it would make no difference and they'd still tell her to put up with it :( from what we've seen of them, it's not unlikely
Keep watching, trust me it’s worth it, especially if those dramas are your taste! for me it’s one of his faves…
Yay! That’s what I wanted to tell you but I didn’t want to write any spoilers. But I hope it was worth it for you at least to see that episode since it was sooo good. :D

Oh, I see, then if you’re not enjoying the present time scenes I can see how that can make it difficult. (I enjoyed both timelines) But it’s cool that you’re trying :)
I'm glad this is here though...

And I know… I skipped on Sweet Home because promos looked gory.
