A Shop for Killers wouldnāt be so excellent without her wonderful performance. The uncle-niece relationship was what gave it a heart, and she was a huge part of that. š«¶
Now that was a surprise. I definitely enjoyed today's episode more than the previous one. I like how they shift…
I also found the music/score noticeably good! Really not often that it grabs my attention, but here itās just as you said, it enhanced the scenes a lot and helped set the tone.
Character-wise, it doesn't make sense that this cool and collected judge would in an instant become this emotional…
Thatās actually the one part that I couldnāt quite explain to myself. Best theory so far is that he was making a spectacle on purpose because reporters where there and he didnāt want to go down quietly, but Iām not so sure⦠wondering if weāll get some kind of explanation down the road or was that just how he rolls after being thrown from his pampered existence into the mud. But I agree⦠It was good the story didnāt linger on that part too much.
it felt insulting to think a judge working for the most powerful people in a country would think he'd get away…
In the span of two days he indirectly caused a young womanās suicide and his motherās death. I think he wasnāt quite in his right mind and decided to do it without calculating too much.
On the other hand he also lived a pampered privileged life for years so you can see from his raving mad reactions how out of touch he was and didnāt expect he could be dragged down so bad.
Ep1 was more of an intro and reflected the bleak corrupt existence of Lee Han Young, but ep2 really took off and was super exciting! I am now very much hyped for the rest of it. š„³
Of course. It's so good, and the budget this year is wild!!
Hi, if you donāt mind me asking, would you say itās better than S2? I didnāt read mdl comments or google it to avoid any spoilers, but Iām curious š«£
I'm confused. Was the 5 years earlier just for the climbing scene they had together or was the main plot set five…
The kids just gossiped - likely the stories about him went around since he had suddenly quit climbing and was unemployed, but in truth he quit climbing because she rejected him. The only flashback was the climbing scene :)
Just a heads up that there are some inaccuracies in the description here. For example, Bai Li sets up the service for herself and itās more about staying connected to her daughter.
