YSS and CY are so fun to watch.really liked their interaction.CY is so lovely when she is with YSS.Yss trying to draw a line but constantly giving himself away.🤣I hope they keep them as the fun couple not turn them into a tragic one. RRY and NYZ are just perfect together.I just feel good when i see them together. I also like the bromance?! Between LTG and CY. The last ep didn't have enough YY.she should have been there when they were watching YSS and CY🤣
The best storyline and char developement so far is for YY.from a naive childish timid girl to a smart daring brave woman. NYZ was just perfect from the start till now.he is the best ML i have seen. RY is also perfect,her char developement is also good.but i don't like the empress avenging plot and she always talking about the empress.she brings her up in every conversation.NYZ: x flowers are beautiful .RY:empress liked y flowers!! LTG and CY feel like siblings.both have a tricky storyline,you like them in a scene then want to punch them in another scene. All the other main chars are loveable. Wudi and Andi both need to die.I hope Wudi dies first cause i hate him more.

They wanted to show us that RY is going from worshipping the empress to pointing out her flaws and admitting that she wasn't that good and wise afterall but I think it's not working.the writing just doesn't feel right.
I really don't like the empress story line and everything that is related to her. She was stupid and overly dramatic.she wasn't mad that they were going to attack another country but was mad that her husband bought some horses from a country that they were previously at war with.what did she expect to not have any relationship with that country even after years the war had ended!what a hill to die on.she didn't even think about the future of her son who could be killed at anytime in that court.we understand that her relatives were all as..holes but she wasn't any better. Then her stupid last words. I can't cheer RY doing everything to avenge her.It's just not worth it.I think this empress revenge story is the weakes part of this drama.wish they had done something else.the Wu people story is good the An people story just feels mediocre.
Have they started to hate LYN for his salary or not yet? I think every production should announce the cast salary.it would prevent many problems. But no wonder many high budgeted dramas except of having big stars look cheap.their costumes and set doesn't look like a high budget drama.most of the money goes to actors. Sometimes dramas with lesser known actors have better quality. I wonder how much the budget of this drama was that they could pay so much to actors but not affect the overall quality of the drama.

I think NYZ will knock some sense into him and i don't know maybe become a male role model for him but they are really annoying and tiring the audience right now.If he was some stupid person from the start it wouldn't be this annoying.they started with him being a general ,an sly and calculating char the turned him into a clown.some would think a calculative person would have better ways to get what he wants but he is running around like an stupid angry child.
When Jia Ling fell into the river i was like not agaaain.she is alive and will come back to make trouble but then they were waiting for her to get out of the river.I taught the writer wants to show the cliche that happens in other dramas then show that she is different. Then comes the female character is sooo sad she has a fever and fell into a coma,her illness is not physical but mental and we cannot do anything about it.how many dramas has this same dialogue and plot?it's cheesy to be honest.I feel like no matter how much a writer wants to avoid cliches they can't get rid of all of it
Considering the empress son is such a power hungry descpicable person,I don't know why she told RY to not fall in love but have your own child.lady your own child was a moron!the advice should have been more like enjoy your single life then adopt a child and raise her as your own.because RY was more loyal to her than her own son.

They are overdoing the LTG obsession plot.it was a plot to creat drama between NYZ and RRY.they should have put an end to it after that not repeating it and turning the character into a moron.
In many dramas they start with a powerful FL then dumb her down or turn her into a damsel in distress to make the ML look better.I'm happy that this hasn't happened in this drama yet.RY has remained powerfull,intelligent and sharp.her character has been consistent.although she had character growth ,she hasn't changed to another person.
Isn't the secound prince the son of the empress?so naturally RY should protect and support him.I don't understand why she is supporting NYZ and LTG whit their plan while they want to get rid of 1st and 2nd prince and make the third prince the king.Isn't this considered betraying the empress?or I might have missed sth? LTG is making things difficult for himself.he cannot swallo his pride.he just needs to be a bit kinder to Chu Yue to get what he wants.
