I think if they fought each other a few years ago when both were at their peak and didn't have feelings for each other NYZ would have defeated RX at the end but he would get seriously injured.their fight wouldn't have a winner both will lose sth.

I didn't pay attention to DH introduction. Didn't they say that his family member was killed by Scarlet guards and that's why he hates them?what was his relationship with RRY?

LYN is not as pretty as some idol actors,that's a fact. But he is handsome and attractive and has the charisma and charm and I think he is main lead material.He has screen presence.he is not the type to be forgotten after the series has ended and can leave an impression.I think he is not suitable for SL roles because he overshadows the ML.
I think it's not a good thing for an actor to be toooo beautiful,it can have a negative effect on the role and character,makes it less believable.
Overall I think LYN is doing a pretty good job as a ML.However, the C-ent is so competitive that attacks like this on actors look is normal,they are fighting over resources and will do anything to attack their rival.

I would be surprised if they let LTG be actually son of a court musician.There is a high chance that there is plot twist and he is actually the son of Su state crown prince and her mother hid it so his brother the king doesn't use the child to conquer Su state.

I really want to see YY become powerful.I can see that that's what they have intended for this character. Maybe a rags to riches story.a princess who everyone looks down on to a powerful queen.maybe she become a queen in An.
But I dont know how they want to return her to Wu to become the ruler.there are many people before her to claim the throne and excep NYZ she doesn't have anyone to support her in Wu.this would be an interesting story.

I like it that they are not blindly loyal to the king and NYZ criticises the king.
I actually hope Danyang wang becomes the king,he just seems to be more capable and smarter.I want them to clear their brothers name but fail in their mission to rescue the king or get an edict for the empress and prime minister.

LTG IQ dropped as soon as he saw RRY!he was so calculating and calm in previous eps he suddenly turned into a stupid and rash lunatic.
I don't know RRY acknowledging him puts the delegation and herself more in danger or not acknowledging him.did they really have to turn this into a love triangle?!I was hoping that they pair LTG with YY , not making him obsessed with his shifu who was like a mother to him.
Du darren shamelessly asks NYZ to use RRY as a honey trap despite knowing they are romantically involved!what a jerk.

Overall this was a decent drama compared to many dramas that have been released recently but it isn't perfect.
I liked the FL and all 3 MLs the princess is also very likable.I have dropped so many dramas because of the character of the FLs ,i'm happy that this one didn't have an insufferable FL.
The last few eps were rushed.I really liked XW as a character but didn't like him as a romantic interest,maybe because of how they portrayed him,aggressive,forceful,jealous,crazy a red flag ,their love journey didn't feel good to me but I think they were destined to be together.they are like 2 matching puzzle pieces.In their previous life they didn't end up together and didn't have a good fate,in this life they had to be together.
JXN reconciled with her parents but the wedding was like she was an orphan and after leaving her home she seems to not care for her family.maybe the wedding was because of production budget or sth.
I felt that they wanted to forcefuly insert JXN in every scene and some of it felt really unnatural and out of place,like the final battle,the confession the kiss.she could be removed from some scenes and not affect the flow of the story.I also don't know how JXN and princess developed such a strong bond!
You Feng yin death wasn't handled properly.It seemed stupid and unneccessary.why she tried to stop him?they could capture him even without her intervention.It would be better if he stabbed her to get a confession and she died because of that.I thought he was going to stamp her finger on the paper forcefully but no he was asking her.
Poor Feng Miao she was a sweet girl but got caught in this sh!t.I was hoping that they choose the you legitimate daughter or an evil person then get rid of her.
They wanted to take a shortcut and end everything properly ,they didn't want to make XW a rebel ,he just randomly confessed to the king and he was ok with it ?I don't know lazy writing or trying to pass censorship but it was ehhhhh.
This drama had a strong team of actors but a weird director and had to comply with censorship rules i think they did a good job overall.

Someone who has read the book did Xue Yuan kill the 300 boys and then tried to kill Dingfei too?or He only tried to get rid of Dingfei?I also suspcet that he has been drugging the emperor to make him sick and weak.

Mr. Gu is so clever.He foiled XW plan so smoothly.

He can be righteous,pursue the truth and stand by what he think is right.He can put XW or anyone else in prison for what they've done and I have no problem with that my problem with him is how he in that specific scene acted which wasn't smart at all.
And yes even he can be bought,didn't he break the law for JXN in their previous life?He isn't perfect. He didn't do it for money or power.his price was a few words from JXN.

The question is logical but how and when it was asked was stupid like his superior said.if he suspected that the seal was stolen he should have investigated it and confronted XW with evidence.his impulsive righteousness is a double edged sword.if he express his thoughts loudly without thinking about consequences he will not only be in trouble himself but will harm others too.imagine this question was asked infront of the xue vilain how he could have used it in his favour.
He even wanted to go back and speak to the king again without any evidence based on his suspiciouns if Mr Gu hadn't prevented him from going back he would have harmed many people including himself.
The fact that XW tried to calm the situation in the ceremony and confronted xue should have at least made him think more about what's going on.
I want him to be just and not take sides but he should be smarter about it.

The problem is he expressed his logical thoughts before XW asked for the exile punishment.before he ask for the punishment didn't he think that maybe XW was trying to protect Yan?He was implying that The seal wasn't with marquis Yan at the time he was arrested.which means he lost the seal while he was under house arrest but didn't report to the emperor.He gave the seal to XW before the arrest willingly which means they are colluding or XW stole it on the ceremony day which he cannot prove.the more i think about it the more i find what he did stupid.

Mr Gu his superior also doesn't have that knowledge.he also seems like a righteous person and wants to clear Yan's name but he didn't blurt out the first thing that came to his mind in front of the empror.He could've easily get the Yans killed by making the empror suspicious of XW and Yan colluding.when everyone is scheming and there are many corrupt people around a person like him can be used as a tool by the exact same people he hates.If he can remebers his past life like FL it's more reason to be more cautious and do things a bit differently than his past life.

I really like Zhang Zhe ,but I think he is a bit short sighted.sometimes he fails to look at the whole picture and says everything that comes to his mind.I was shipping him with JXN but now I think he is not a good match at all.everyone says he is righteous,I think he is a stupid one.someone can be righteous and wise at the same time but he is blindly righteous.

The story has been enjoyable so far.I hope it doesn't go downhill in next eps.I like all of the actors.I think all of them represent their roles very well.ZLH has improved a lot as an actor although his acting is still not perfect and sometimes he can't pull some facial expressions that well ,I think he has alot of potential.I think his role is the hardest one and he is doing a good job.

Acting and directing in some scenes is weird.they try hard to take beautiful shots of the ML so i think he poses in some scenes.the story is overall a cliche but i have watched ep 4 and i'm still enjoying it.

All the actors did a great job.I really liked the ending ,they didn't take the happily ever after route and actually slapped us with reality.
Zhou ye has so much potential ,I hope she gets good scripts and get to act in high quality productions.
WXY is also a good actor.

They made us believe that ZY was some special boy and his dad had plans for him to become the SW however it seems his dad didn't have any plan for him and he actually wanted SJ to be the next Sw.
If he was someone like all the other people in Gong residence why his dad went to great length to demote poor red jade jin fan to a green one to be by Zy side?and i find this really unfair,except zishang who has a cripple dad and Zy all the other kids are orphans,Hongyu being responsible for everyone but giving his own kid special treatment really annoys me.
