I agree. They didn't put much effort and money in the fashion, design and animation part.

They weren't ugly but underwhelming as wedding dresses.more like maid of honour in an intimate ceremony than wedding dress.

I think i could watch 1000 eps of Chan going around spreading sunshine.
I've dropped alot of 16 or 12 ep kdramas on ep 8 cause they became boring or draggy. This drama however got me hooked till the last eps and i wished it was longer. I don't know if it was longer than 12 eps it would've been better or not but i really wanted to watch them spend more time together.
This drama definitely had potential to be more meaningful and to distance itself from kdrama cliches.but they probably didn't want to take the risk.
I give it a high rating 8.5 for the actors and i also enjoyed and waited for each ep.
Hope to see them get better scripts. I want to see them in a 10/10 movie or drama. I'm really going to miss Chan shine.

I noticed that too,he looks slimmer compared to his other dramas. But it actually fits his charcter. When I started the drama i was wondering whether he had lost weight for this drama. He looks a bit tired and haggard which makes sense considering what the character went through.
Hope to see him in more dramas but different roles. I'd love to see him in an action, thriller, mystery drama or movies. Less romance! I think he has alot of potential.

So Chan was talking with HR for weeks.
Then the ex-Chan comes back ,gives his laptop back and tells him to transfer his data to his own laptop.
Then he goes to the lab and tells him the truth. Pretty sure that ex-chan hits Chan not the other way around.but he remembers incorrectly.
He goes back to his room, wants to take his data from ex-chan's laptop.
Sees the message that was sent at least 14 hours ago! Despite having a fight with ex-chan opens the message AGAIN.
Goes back to lab and ....
And ex-chan the idiot was playing with a lighter in a lab full of chemicals. I'm pretty sure he caused the explosion and it has nothing to do with Chan.
Some of the timings don't make sense.did she get from seoul to Boston in one hour or Chan didn't use the laptop for 14 hours? How when everything was in chaos and they were still rescuing people the sister found out ex-chan is dead and called HR.no one could've been sure that he is dead and contact his family immediately except maybe Sujin.

This is what came to my mind too.
But I think the ex-chan and Chan had complete different attitudes and different way of talking when speaking to Haran. Ex-Chan was dismissive but Chan was understanding and caring because he felt a connection. I think she put two and two together ,noticed the difference and found out it was him.
Anyway how he got to know her is still distasteful.
I wonder how long she was in a relationship with ex-Chan? 1 month mix talking with ex-chan and Chan and 1 month with Chan?

It is interesting that after finding out fl came to the conclusion that it was Chan that she was chating with not that he is a creepy stalker that read her messages to her ex and used the info to manipulate her into a relationship. She probably noticed the difference between the messages she got from the ex and Chan and how she felt closer to Chan and not the ex.
I think everything Haran told to Chan was right. What he did was wrong, pretending to be someone else.but i also can understand Chan,she was like a ray of light in his darkness. The guy was isolated, bullied and shunned by others untill he got to talk to her! But from FL pov it is very creepy and she had every right to lash out like that and set boundries. She was grieving all this time for the memories she had with Chan thinking it was the ex.
She just needed time to cool down but unfortunately things got complicated and they got completely separated.
I think his memories are not correct. He probably saw sth but his brain is twisting things and Sujin being mean made things worse.

I sense another amnesia plot.

I don't think it was his fault. I think the explosion was caused by the ex,but Sujing was still mad at Chan for the argument they had and was being mean to him, that's why she lied to him but when she found out he wasn't well because of the explosion she felt guilty.

I agree. his charcter development arc would have been interesting. How he went from a traumatised kid to become a dark cloud bullied by others to later become a sunshine.such an extrem change and opposite of how he has always been. And still despite all that smiles he is still lonely and injured. I wanted to see how much of it was reall change and how much just pretending.did he fake his happiness untill it became a habit?
They could've gone deeper into his story but unfortunately i don't think the majority of their target audience would like to watch it.
On the other hand Haran is traumatised, depressed, withdrawn and without any friends but i don't get the feeling that she is lonely. Maybe because of her family.

It's interesting that as his relationship with Haran progresses his outfits are changing from bubbly, goofy ,bright and approachable to darker colours and different shapes and materials like leather
.it's like showing that he is becoming more serious.or maybe the bubbly personality was just a coping mechanism and him pretending to be happy to overcome his guilt and past and he has dropped the pretense now. He gave off a very lonely vibe from the start despite having alot of friends.

I think he wanted to break up with her but because of his sister couldn't do it suddenly.probably was going to reduce contact and gradually dump her or make her break up with him but Chan chating with HR ruined his plan.that's why SJ is also so pissed at him.her situation was humiliating and Chan ruined their plan. Or maybe the ex was really a decent guy and had other reasons?! Maybe he was sick too and wanted to break up so he doesn't hurt Haran.maybe the ex and sujin were close because of that. I hope it wasn't like this because it would be repetitive. Keep the sick bf role for the ml.

I really want to see her actively pursue Chan in ep 12 even for half an episode.let him get his punishment for his lies and secrets in ep 11 and a happy ending in ep 12. I want her to cool down and then initiate the relationship herself.

One thing that is bothering me is that they are not consistent with his arm make up, the burn marks. In one shot there are burns and in another his arm is as smooth as a mirror.probably hoped that we don't notice.
I see some laziness in writing and execution. But anyway i like the actors and the story enough to keep warching.

I cannot believe that he didn't know how their relationship was. He was depressed but he wasn't stupid. The fact that the ex told him to reply to her message in the first place shows how little he cares for her.and he was constantly with another woman. Ml had access to all of their messages too.
I don't remember how long they messaged each other without the fl knowing. Was it months or just one or two weeks. I hope they show it all in ep 10 . They are dragging it.

I think the ex bf and his sister got close to Haran on purpose,for money or sth else maybe.his sister seems fishy. The ex bf probably wasn't that much interested in her from the start.

What a bad situation they are in!
She has been deppressed over a jerk for 7 years and the ml is partly responsible for it. The ex boyfriend was neglecting her so she wouldn't get that much attached to him and probably would have broken up and not be hurt like this. But ml chating with her made her feel a deep connection and love and that's why she got trapped by those fake memories. I think if i were her and the ml came clean i would really be pissed. If at least he had told her the truth 7 years ago when he remembered it was him chating with her she would have moved on sooner.

This type of parent-child dynamic between leads who are supposed to be romantically involved is not sth i really want to see.it feels abit disgusting.
If she has a parent- child dynamic with her squad or Wen Kan or even Gongsun it's ok,cause they are not love interests.but the writers should've toned it down abit when it comes to CY and XZ.

At this point Chang Yu is just infantilizing Yan Zheng. She doesn't give him a choice,undermines him, decides for him and wants to do things in a place that she doesn't know it's rules. If he was really an ordinary soldier her actions to make him desert his post could cost him his life.
The Sui brat was shot in the chest and thrown of a cliff but 5 min later he is up and kicking ass, murdering people. But Yan Zheng has been injured for eternity. It got repetitive to see him injured, and she trying to care for him like a child.is she supposed to act like Xie Zheng's mom?we don't have meat and salt and medicine so the injuries are slowly getting better blah blah, I'm just tired of it i hope they just move on from this plot.
But I have to say her fight scene was beautiful.

Will Gongsun and the princess have a HE?
