Can we please get BLs with gay characters. I am honestly tired of seeing straight guys falling in love trope.…
Not sure if you have heard about bisexuality but okay π nowhere in the series did Noey or anyone else say Noey is straight. Please watch the rest of the episodes before saying that about the characterπ€£π€£
I'm usually the grumpy type of person but this series makes me happy. I had a smile on my face throughout episode…
All the songs used in the series are soo good. For me, the OST of a series plays an important role in making or breaking it. It's one of the reasons I adore this series so much!

Yeah that's why Noey was surprised when Thi was consoling him because he didn't expect this behaviour from someone who he think is in love with him haha π€£π€£

Don't think Thi has realised fully yet that he likes Noey. Which is why he was surprised when Noey said he wants to flirt with him. He just wants to see Noey happy and wants to help him but he doesn't realise yet why.
I was a bit disappointed that Noey still went to Pam. I thought while making the flowers, he realized his true…
That was like his last try I suppose. He liked spending time with Thi and was proud that he made those flowers with him. Even did his homework to make him feel proud and happy but he didn't process these feelings in him until he saw Thi consoling him and being there for him when he was down and helped him make the flowers despite being "madly in love" with Noey. That's when he realised Thi is interesting and wanted to give him a chance romantically.
OK. I get it. The whole enemies to lovers/opposites attract trope is still very popular in BL. Curious though.…
Usually when people think of someone as their enemy or is annoying and are forced by circumstances to interact with them, they don't really act nicely. But of course the level of hostility depends on the character. Noey is a local gangster so can't really expect him to be civil to someone who he thinks is annoying π If both of them were as aggressive as he is then surely they would end up in the hospital first and the story wouldn't progress. Once the leads in these stories really get to know the other person their views change and so does their behaviour π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ I mean, why would anyone want to still be mean to someone they realise they actually like?
This is why I love Thai fans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpLPoH4ZFikThis show will be over by the time I…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17nUlBhHW1w&t=615s did you see this interview? funny because in the series Thi doesn't really believe in destiny but Noey does. However, in real life it seem Bom believes in destiny but Tar doesn't and believes there is an explanation/science behind everything
Noey & Pam don't have age difference. They are both in M4 class but different schools. Noey moved on so easily…
That was in slow motion because the focus was on O finally being brave and whisking away Pam and messing up Noey's flowers. Like a symbolism. O likes Pam and pretty sure Pam might like O in the series too that's why she didn't object to O taking her away. Noey is a little dumb but not a complete idiot. Anyone would understand that's a rejection. She wasn't even smiling at Noey or anything. It was awkward for her.
Noey is very unpredicatable. he got rejected and was a little upset but the moment he realised he finds Thi interesting and wants to know about him he just said it out loud without caring about anything else. Any other person would have thought it through first but because he is Noey, he just said what was in his mind. He is kinda the same in the novel, even more unpredictable. Thi never knows what Noey is thinking.
I actually like when they do the voiceovers, because no one really thinks out loud all the time in real life.…
Yes I know what you meant. I said that in the context that Thi smiling and voiceover was the right combination in that moment and didn't need any other exaggerated expressions to express pride especially when it was meant for just Thi & the audience or else it would seemed theatrical. It was not that he was just standing there with a straight face while the voice said he was feeling proud haha. He did act but that was the extent of pride that could've been shown in that situation without making it look overly exaggerated. But as you said, it's definitely individual opinion. This show is not without some production flaws either. Every show has flaws in my opinion. But different people view it differently. That's the fun thing about film studies. This is why I said there is no right or wrong when it comes to the interpretation of any art form. But as an audience, if I am stuck critiquing every show I watch then I won't like anything.
And sorry if it's hard to understand some things I say because English is not my first language π
By subtext I meant the underlying theme and not just what the synopsis says. Like a lot of reading between the lines. I try to diversify and watch different types of series both Bl/ non-BL from different countries and not just Asia. It certainly opens up ones mind to other possibilities of production types and not just stick to what has been done by others. Voiceovers have often been used as key instrument for many productions to express a person's inner voice/thoughts which is supposed to be intimate to the character and definitely not limited to just thoughts to have a comedic effect. But at the end of the day all of it is up to individual interpretation. Hope you can enjoy the rest of the series though :D

IMO if Pam didn't want to reject Noey she would have taken the flower and not look so troubled. The message was clear to Noey that it's a rejection. So he didn't want to take it any further. He seemed more upset about the messed up flowers because him & Thi made it together. He brought the flowers back with him and gave it to Thi to get it fixed. It's like he got his heart messed up and he is now giving his messed up heart to Thi to make it right for him. Hope that makes sense haha!

"We as humans tend to exhibit them and we tend to pick up on others. Television uses it heavily and it's not just seen in theatrical productions which use a style of overacting that originates from theatre being acted on the stage and requiring to act such that the rear row of the theatre can understand." that is exactly what I meant. In that particular scene where Thi was thinking to himself, IMO it was conveyed quite naturally that he was feeling proud of Noey. For that moment, the natural temperament of the character, the environment they were in, the thoughts that followed after pride, that was best choice.
It depends on the subtext of the story too. Maybe the BL series you are talking about didn't have the same subtext as this series. Because I have seen many well produced series (not necessarily BL) from different countries that have used this method. So it's just a matter of what we have been exposed to. Doesn't make it wrong or right. When it comes to BLs we all know one company that's is dominant and honestly, for me, a lot of their BLs seem to follow the same structure, same undertones to the point one can easily point out it's from that company. But that doesn't make it the industry standard. It's more like their own mark.

Pam has no feelings for Noey at all. He is just not her type and she has expressed that before too. Pam looked troubled when Noey was trying to give her the flowers so O made it easy for her to escape. And Noey didn't pursue it anymore because he understood the message and also in his heart he didn't want to go after her again and wanted to focus more on Thi instead who was there for him and treats him well and who he thinks is in love with him.

Noey is in fact very unpredictable. One time he is flirting up a storm with Thi and the next time he acts like Thi is an eyesore for him π which is why at the beginning of the episode Thi made the observation that Noey changes his mood so fast that he can't guess what is coming next. Even in the novel, this nature of Noey annoys Thi so much which is why the title of the series is ΰΈΰΈ΅ΰΉΰΈΰΈ°ΰΈΰΈ΅ΰΈΰΈ°ΰΉΰΈΰΈ’ (which translates to - P will hit you na, Noey) π
