I don't think Thi is a second option. Noey realized that Thi has all the qualities he is looking for. Because…
yesss he is obviously very immature I mean he is still in high school and with that fiery personality π but if you've noticed he has started to listen to what Thi says. Boy is W.H.I.P.P.E.D!
I don't think Thi is a second option. Noey realized that Thi has all the qualities he is looking for. Because…
A lot of Thai tweets were saying in the last episode, Noey was focusing only on the dropped flowers instead of O dragging Pam away (he didn't even look at them) and he looked sad. He was mostly sad because of the flowers because to him that was the symbol of his and Thi's hard work and feelings he put into it. That's why he was still holding onto them. So in his heart, he already started liking Thi but the rejection along with Thi supporting him was his final push to realising his feelings.
Noey is not a very bright kid, so not surprised the realisation hit him out of the blue and he acted upon it.
I tried...but I just couldn't. This could've been so interesting but they botched it IMO. Nunew as Kirin was okay but him as Kuea was....I rather not say it. The only thing I liked about this show was Nunew's singing. He is vocally gifted for sure. but acting.....
alsoo guysss, last episode ended with Thi on the floor and Noey in bed, but this episode started with Thi in his own bed π³π³π³ what if Noey moved him later while he was asleep so he would be more comfortable π€
Okay but why is the way Noey choses to go around dating lowkey the standard I want for myself xD Not gonna lie,…
sameee! He is so open about his feelings that it's refreshing to see a character not second guess if they really like someone or not. He falls hard and goes all in ππ
it is underrated however the first few episode were kinda drag and a bit let down. however they have finally picked…
I have been hooked from episode 1. They needed to take it slow initially to establish the characters and their characteristics more. Noey and Thi started on bad terms so they needed to resolve that tension first and show that they slowly started to warm up to each other. I think this why I love the characters more as I feel like I know their personalities and temperament well rather than rushing through it. Usually in any other series, even if I like the characters when they are together I'm like "ah okay, cute." but here because I have seen them slowly open their hearts, I am more excited when they are together ππ
guys....I have died thanks to Noey's flirting π
I never doubted that Noey will give his 100% in courting Thi but this is too much for my heart. And Thi has been a blushing mess this whole episode π³π³
The part that I liked most about this episode is how Noey gives his all when he takes something seriously. He is flirting with Thi seriously and he is giving his best trying to be a good person for him, even though his temper gets the best of him sometimes. My fav. scenes were probably when he kissed Thi, wanted to feed Thi but got too shy because his mom was there, Noey asking Thi to let him court Thi and if he thinks he has done well, then Thi can fall entirely for him and of course Noey making the camp food salty just because Thi likes salty food ππππ
I need to say, friends of both leads are so supportive of each other! I mean Thi & Noey were flirting up a storm (sorry Phayu) at the volunteering camp and Thi's friends were like ππAlso I love how both Thi and Noey fill out the gaps each have in their personalities in the cutest way. They both seem to understand each other well that it does seem like they were made for each other.
Long fangirling over, I have seen a good few rom-coms both BL and non-BL and very few series have been able to make me feel this giddy. This show is a genre of its own IMO. Looking forward to more jealous Noey and Phayu drama!!
Not sure if you have heard about bisexuality but okay π nowhere in the series did Noey or anyone else say Noey…
I hear you β€οΈ I know a few pansexuals and let's just say they are tired of people make assumptions to the point they don't even care to explain anymore.
Usually when people think of someone as their enemy or is annoying and are forced by circumstances to interact…
Thi might not be physically strong and avoids confrontation but he has shown strength in other ways. He tried to help Noey from being beaten even though he was scared shitless, he stood upto Noey when it came to tutoring him the right way, he helped O from being bullied by offering himself up as sacrifice to Noey π€£π€£ so it would be wrong to say Thi is weak, he is just physically weak. Not good with violence.
There has been a good few dramas with enemies to lovers where both characters are either strong or atleast one of them is sassy Eg: Pran, Yai, Porsche, Tutor just to name a few. In fact, I don't remember a BL drama where one of the leads is this much scared of the other ππ
I think there's room for all types of stories in this genre. Each character has a different story to tell. Even…
Exactly!
And also, I feel like some people think that it's a requirement for all shows to have kiss scenes by ep 3/4 and NC 18 scenes by the end of the show. While they are a type of story too not all shows need to bound by that same structure. Honestly, I wouldn't even mind if they don't have a proper kiss scene in this show because their chemistry is already so cute and fluffy! And I am really particular about chemistry between main characters. I have seen soo many BLs where MLs have 0 chemistry but is filled with Nc18 scenes which didn't make sense.
I think people should not compare the pace of a show to other shows because all stories are different. Different stories have different pace. This is a story of two guys who were at odds with each other slowly warming up to one another and finally realising their feelings. The story is about how Thi's presence in Noey's life changed him and made him wanting to be a better person for Thi.
Change is a process. So they cannot be jumping from Noey threatning Thi to him kissing him within a span of few episodes without showing they are warming up to each other as they get to know each other.
Anyway, can't wait for Friday to see what tricks our Noey has up his sleeves to woo Thi ππ
For the sake of argument, I thought this generation was all about fluidity. Noey and Thi are Gen-Z, so why aren't…
I agree with your points. Personally, as someone who also belongs to the lgbtq+ community, It amazes me that some people within the community still label any romantic interaction between opposite sex as strictly "straight". I am one of them who believes sexuality is a spectrum and cannot really be labelled as such. It's one thing if someone identifies with a label themselves but to disregard others who don't want to be labelled is not right imo. Even if it's a character. Art imitates life. Unfortunately, even within the community people of certain sexualities and preferences are not properly acknowledged.
I can understand what u mean i can feel a little bit the same as you i watched now a lot bls and i think 80% are…
There was no "straight couple" scene in this show because Noey & Pam are not even a couple. It was a one-sided crush. It is kinda demeaning to say a male character hitting on a girl is automatically "straight" unless it has been stated explicitly that the character only likes girls. People don't even consider that pansexuality is also a thing where the gender identity of a person doesn't matter. Yes, representation of all sexualities should matter, but not at the cost of another. Yes, there should be more productions/novels about people only interested in the same sex but that cannot be achieved by saying why are they showing other representations more. At the end of the day, it is also the writer's choice of what kind of relationship they want to portray. If some audience doesn't like it then they should move on to something else they can relate to.
Even though Noey is just a character in a story, he is still a young character probably still exploring his sexuality. So I don't see the point of coming to a show where the lead is finally not making a big deal about feeling attracted to guys and saying why he didn't like a guy before...
Not sure if you have heard about bisexuality but okay π nowhere in the series did Noey or anyone else say Noey…
I understand that about other shows where the lead say they don't like guys just one guy. But that is not even the case here. Noey is a HS kid who had a crush on a girl. That's what is in the novel too. Even in real life, just because someone dated someone of the opposite sex before dating the same sex doesn't mean they are not really a part of the community. People think bisexuality is 50/50, but that's far from the truth. In fact, bisexuals don't get enough representation; even in real life, people say stuff like this. Noey doesn't care if the one he likes is a guy or a girl. Just because he didn't have a crush on a guy before, doesn't make the choices his character makes invalid. I have gay male friends who I watch this show with too and they didn't have any issues with Noey liking a girl before because he was not toxic about his feelings for Thi or had a breakdown about liking guys like "straight" guys are usually shown to do. If you are personally looking for a show where characters are 100% into same-sex then this is not for you obviously.
Not sure if you have heard about bisexuality but okay π nowhere in the series did Noey or anyone else say Noey…
But that means even if a character is bisexual they cannot be shown to fall in love with a girl because the ultimate relationship is supposed to be a gay couple? When Noey "rejected" Thi in initial episodes, not once he said it was because he was a guy. All he said was "you're not my type". So not sure what makes you think Noey is a straight character just because he liked a girl before.
Noey is not a very bright kid, so not surprised the realisation hit him out of the blue and he acted upon it.
