Unnecessary attempt to make a "dark" movie. Artistic? No. Self-indulgence (from the director's part)? Yes. Too much spitting scenes, both figuratively and literally. Even Nana Mori (which has natural tendency to act better in dark type atmosphere) can't help. 4/10

It could be... anything is possible. But one thing for sure, Japanese mystery drama fans love plot-twists, lol... So we can expect any crazy plot twist in the story, and that won't be from random serial killers. Still 2 episodes left.
It was aired in Japan just this Saturday (Sept 5) & has been released on TVer for Japan. You can still watch from outside Japan with VPN, but no English subs available.
