My take on the sexual harassment complaints are that since their arguments is about "double standards" and how if you reverse the role of the women touching a male's abs would be perceived negatively. Then, those that deemed it as so should have complain in the same scene about having the male nipples be exposed and this culture where censorship for male is so lax compared to women and how male have more freedom to not wear clothes in public spaces. Isn't that another double standards to judge for many other dramas out there? They are fine with having less censorship for male in terms of physical appearance and yet female censorship is so strict. There is also that fact that other drama had glorify serial killers, kissing without consents and adultery being shown but for there to be a lack of criticism for those whilst this drama has a female lead touching the one of the least inappropriate body part to a male (where previously, the two leads had already been touching each other's body parts like the shoulders, wrist and head).
The most important point is that they missed out on the core idea where this drama is about an exploration to "mental illness and disorder". Do they not realized that writer intend to show that these individuals does not always exactly know from what is right and wrong? Just like how in the first episode regarding the father and daughter story and how sang tae was during the autograph signing process, we already can see inkling of how mental illness and disorder can affect the minds to not think sensibly.
I am not trying to justify the "sexual harassment action" but more so trying to say that it is not a very big deal in the right context unless the male lead inside the drama shows a reaction that is more uncomfortable and by then, the male lead would have immediately called the police as a proper procedure in "reality". It's the same analogy as how games portrays violence but you don't see people in reality going out gun blazing (Can we justify the violence shown? No and yet it still exist in games and without complaints because it is all fictional and the blame of perpetuating violent behavior in real life individuals would be their crime and not the game's fault) . If anyone face this exact situation in reality, then don't be worried and do what you feel is correct, report it to the police. Please just have less hatred for a "drama" and leave the complaints till the end of the drama airing. By then, you have free roam over how you want to criticize the drama.
I am really enjoying this drama and is waiting in anticipation for episode 5 and 6. I just hope that complaints by the knetizens won't be affecting the drama significantly as we need to see the original version they intended to get the best effect out from the writer's/director's intention!
Overall an enjoyable experience with some minor plot-convenience that I notice and cliche police-insecurities. It didn't invoke a feeling of pure terror but it can get suspenseful during the chase. The cast's acting was great and would recommend anyone to give it a try especially if you are into detective/crime genre!
