Loved it all except for the last 20 minutes. She didn’t need that jerk Lord.

Just finished this today after a gap of some time - my husband was in and out of the room and recapping it for him actually made the story hang together. Really hated the historical family bits - but we all know those family relationships just sucked. Loved the humor - wow can Rowoon make me laugh.

I like older actors and more mature storylines but I’m absolutely not going to watch if a) ML cheats on his wife or b) FL leaves because she is ill and doesn’t want any one to know. I’d like a spoiler on this - I need to save my viewing time for stories that don’t crush my soul.

LDW was filming Hotel King during this show. An interesting side note was that he was dieting for the role and couldn’t eat the delicious food being cooked at the house. But he was really kind and would clean up the kitchen when he got home late and didn’t even get to eat the food! PB had a ridiculous public outcry when she flew into the country with her doctor-proscribed adhd meds. They are restricted meds in Korea but she was not the drug addict public outcry painted her as. She was my favorite ☹️

Although, with a degree in physics, Aarif Rahman could probably fake going to an Ivy League school reasonably well!

I do too! A well done transmigration novel (didn’t I read somewhere that these type of dramas are kinda restricted in China?) has a lot of plot - surprise, confusion, realization, revenge possibly and sometimes, love - and they often deserve more episodes as a drama, not less. Jun Jiu Ling (2021) was a fantastic novel - drama is so-so.

Not as flat out funny as the book but charmingly light and with very few plot holes.

Surprisingly interesting. Wish there’d be more about the self-sustaining life . . .

This guy is a fine character actor! He reminds me of some of the cross talk ((Xiangsheng?) performers.

Locomotive engineers?! This must have been sponsored by the government. . .

Fun - ultimately no less scripted than any other reality show.
