Since I'm watching this without subs - can someone clue me into the relationship between the older Prince (the one with the sickly wife) and the younger Prince? Uncle and nephew? Half brothers? Someone has some bad intentions here!
For those who are watching season 2 and understand Chinese, I'm wondering why the "initial bride" - the one replaced by Fang Yi Shao - is back and so bummed. I thought she didn't want to marry Shen Yong? I know this is just a plot device but I'm still wondering.
From what I've seen of Nahkun's mother, her character's outfits and attitude scream "Bitch." The good thing about the ex-Crown Princess in the original Goong is that she seemed so serene and good on the outside, even more so than the Queen. Showing the world her real attitude right now is pretty much spilling the beans as to who is plotting for the throne.
AND - I had to edit this after finishing Ep. 8 - to include that while ex-Crown Princess may have some nefarious purpose for wanting the throne, I'd be okay with her side taking on the crown. She at least seems to treat her son well, unlike the other side who seemed fine with drugging the new crown pair.

Yes, they had such a broken relationship but she still took joy in it. I went and looked up narcisstic personality disorder and suprisingly, the description fit Pak perfectly. Obviously, she was over the top but her actions - centered completely on herself - fit the psychological description. I never really thought I would be still pondering her actions all this time later but, hateful and cliched as the lakorn's plot is, I guess that is the mark of a good drama.

Bolin Chen being so sticky sweet was the clue that he was the killer! I actually felt he was so much real when his action/killer side kicked in - but it was like he was in another movie entirely. Not the funny rom com the others were in!
