Wow u can’t read my stuff at all! I don’t care about this ML I’m only watching for FL, a lot of ppl don’t like him because the way he handled the divorce was horrible. Argue with the wall about that, it’s not my place to judge. Again I have no interest in him, I wouldn’t watch this drama if it wasn’t for her because I’m a fan of HER.
And the comparison is by weird ppl who can’t see that they’re divorced since a long while and live their own life’s now. It’s garbage and not needed

The reason he wanted to kill her was because of palace politics not because of her personality thought. I do agree that the king fell in love with bong hwan but he also fell in love with the orignal personality. Sure maybe it was more of a 70 percent love for bong hwan ans the other for the original soyong. But I don’t think erasing her is completely correct either.

i will say it takes a while till the romance actually takes place. ofc there are romantic scenes but the actuall kiss isn’t until [SPOILER: second to last episode].
for me the romance didn’t seem unnecessary at all and added so much to the characters. second ML also knows that FL doesn’t like him very early on, it is just yearning that doesn’t stop him from liking her. but it does not seem forced or unnecessary or even like u want to skip everytime he comes on. you should really try to give maybe the first 4 or 5 episodes a watch. I think the producers did a good balance between romance and politics in this drama, it’s not sudden and builds up very nice. S2 has stronger romance also, so you could look forward to that too.
honestly quite happy with this. i don’t really watch cooking shows but this really just feels like a kdrama cooking show lol, but it’s still so good and really what 2025 needed.
i feel like 2025 was a bit dry in comparison to last year and good kdramas so it’s nice to have at least this one at the end of the year
I really don’t like full Chinese-accented conversations; they give me a headache. I almost dropped it.
they where so bad lol, but usually when in kdramas there is a foreigner and they speak another language (other than english) it’s bad.. idk why but yeah. her french in ep1 was really good which was surprising though

yeah i guess also. it’s just often the FL gets casted first and then the ML. but yeh i just wish that it didn’t feel like hate towards the FL. i understand disliking the ML actor because of his past it’s very understandable, but then again don’t make it FL‘s problem 😭🙏 thank you for understanding
chun wohee (FL) is such an amazing actress i find it quite awful that a lot of people only seem to compare her to ML‘s ex. I am only watching this drama because of her and i had my doubts how some people will react but it’s truly unfortunate that people are like this. it is one reason if you dislike the ML for what he did in the past, but it’s so rude to pull the FL actress into this when she has nothing to do with this.
i can’t tell you who to like and who to dislike, but please don’t insult the FL. If this one seems not to be of interest check out her other dramas i really loved her in atypical family!
