Gong Ma Ri is my favorite character, sexy, sly, and quirky. Love Yoo Ri. But Chae Hee Soo (Lee Min Young) story had me crying even thru the fun parts. Sometimes you kinda get where a kdrama is going to. Last episodes tie everything together. But they don't usually make me cry sad and happy at the same time. My cheeks are still wet. The journey to the end is not expected typical end. I will go into withdrawal now, and I just can't imagine watching any other show right now. If you look at the rating, stop and read how some of our MDL friends Feel.

100% agree. I "spoiler" tag my stuff, but not here. Africa? Your taking the wrong meds. Why would anyone want to go to "Africa" to watch people starve? My brain is broke, I freakout, go wild, etc... But I am still human. Yoo suffered serious shit. I would rather she had found that one thing to motivate her to struggle on. Yea. Mostly uber gory. Blood every where. Bullying and lots of screaming. Each episode is a different unrelated story. I dropped it cause the stories are poorly written, imo. I also think an overall rating is not realistic. Each episode should be rated seperately. With that in mind, of the 4 I watched, I wouldn't any of them better than a 6.

Excellent. Writers put out an engaging storyline. Some of the typical kdrama we all love. Lots of fresh concept to hook and lock you in. "Twists and turns" build suspense. Enough mystery to make the opportunity for surprise. The writers kept this show within its boundaries, two hand clap here. Directors managed the sets and let the actors do their job. Great combo. "Predictable" if you mean it has in-laws (we know how that goes) a corrupt chairman (typical). So, if you get lost looking at the frame, you missed the DeVinci. 9/10

Yoo Ri (Eun Soo) has turned in another 10. The master of desperate shows thru out. Her charm, charisma, and beauty add levels of hope and smiles to the viewers. I am also thrilled with her romance with Ji Min. Slow, troublesome, joyful. The romance is heavily reliant on the story and actors' chemistry. Yoo Ri can have chemistry with a rock, so that was not an issue.

Go Na Hee (Woo Joo) is brilliant. Her performance competes with Yoo Ri for scene dominance. Happiness of youth, depression from life's shocking misery, character delivery worthy of an award.

Ju Eun (Se Mi) pulls off a perfect outcast. Mournful; and failed evil doings. She garnishes empathy as much as she garnishes anger.

Episode 1 to 16 is a long way, in a wonderful way. I teared many times, and one moment in episode 16 I held my breath. Please give me a kdrama ending. OH NO! don't end this way. After wiping my tears, I got to breathe again.

Good story, good directing, and good cast. Highly Recommend.

It just dawned on me. Yoo Ri is in 3 of my highest rated dramas.

Yoo Ri mastered desperate, beautiful, and devious. Everything about her is right. Korea's most hated villian in 2014 to a vengeful victim in 2022.
All the expected kdrama ups and downs times three. "The crowd goes wild". Hats off to the writers and directors.
Ep 11 saw me tear up, laugh, and cheering for Ma Ri.
Hee Soo's story makes me cry. Lee Ming Young is so convincing I cry for her pain.
Poor pitiful Jin Ah has come to the end of herself. I hope last ep. gives her a good moment.
All in all ep 11 is destruction. I'll jump off a cliff if ep 12 don't give me some relief.

Good break from the norm. Great cast, good story. Whicked, fun ending. Predictable, yea some. Still the cast made the story engaging. Not beeoching, but I think most mdl dramas have a cookie cutter final episode. it's alright, the fl and ml normally end up together even if one has to be brought back from the dead. Good show, recommend.

Episode 32 makes me cry x4 now. Ep 32-36 are super duper cdrama. The death of White Snake, the crushing sorrow of Green Snake. Rebirth enables escape from the depths. Yet, even with Bai returning, Qing is struck with strife and overwhelming burdeon. Jin Ru Yi is a powerful presence. Pitiful, hateful, and in the end mournful. Episode 35, the death of Ru Yi, again captured my empathy. In the last final goodbye, sorrow and love equally pull at my heart. Episode 32 to the end is a great burdeon for me. Anyway, that being said, I love this show. Great cast and perfect sound track.

Sure could be viewed that way. MDL dramas tend to do the big wrap up all loose ends in last episode, no matter how silly it gets. This ending is like the writer wrote half of the last line.

Oh Yeon Seo is my #1. I'm biased. The cast mains/support fantastic. Acting great. Story original to me. Will binge it now. I am a little writer peeved. Han felt like she was a support role, often. Out the gate uber bad sss. Then nothing. Hard for me to be critical of Oh in anyway, so writer gets my ire. For it's niche it is great.

I have finished with great emotional pourings. Woo is my second most loved character, right behind Jang Bo Ri. Park delivered more than possible. Many tearful scenes throughout kdramas. However, Park got beyond that limitation and created a character that always engendered emotional connections. The entire cast earned honorable mention. Kang Tae Oh shined. Every scene emitted chemistry. The love story overwhelmed me at times. This series is a ten, perfect, with exception of ep 2&3 (totally director/writer fault). I am suffering Woo withdraw syndrome. But now, the binge is on. Storylines bring to light the great struggle between honesty and deceit.

I am dropping at ep. 6. It is stuck in one gear. It's just clutter, no substance, no chemistry any where. Yoon is the only one that generates drama. Not typical kdrama mobster anything. Korean ain't any influence in this. This a crap netflix show done in korean language. Rate 6.5

I love Woo as is. Selfish. Park on my short fav list. Enchanting. If Park wants to do more, 100% support. A shift in cast wouldn't be kewl. But Woo/Park is all I need for watching. Woo is in my monthly loop, 2 season won't change that. Go go Park.

I am on the don't spoil Woo. Park mastered her part. The cast was awesome. Kdrama one season and out is a thing. Second seasons tend to parse filler, often breaking chemistry. This ending closed, season two would necessarily start with a baseline change. For me Park and Lee Yoo Ri have tied for best performance of the year so far. Woo is on my monthly loop. Love Woo as is.

Super cast. Love Yoo Ri. FLs are great. Just gets better and better. Sang Hoon, it turns out, is funny as h$%#. So much fun. Can't wait to binge.

All the mixins for a good chili. They just don't seem to get in the pot. Binge addict here. I watched half of eps. 1,2&3. Binged the rest. Some good scenes but spread out leaving periods of blah in between. Felt like, ah finally gettin in the grove but nope. It's an okay show. Lack my obession to binge I don't think I would have finished. I did like the ending. It's fun to write your own fade to black.

Assassin student asassin, i'd go with the witch pt 1 or the original Hanna american tv series. Kick Ass also got that on loop, great show.
