I don't know if this is a good show or not. Feels like a couple of repeat rinse plots twisted together. Politics - entertainment cringe. It's only got 2 speeds, nothing and crying. I got bored out at ep. 6.

Oh boy. I am at 14 and half eps. They're in the car on the trip. Lee Yoo Ri is #4 on my favorite actress list. Lee Re is a great actress and in this she is off the hook good.

I am having Becoming Witch ptsd. Lee Min Young, what a super actress. In Becoming Witch her character Hee Soo is dying from cancer and she keeps it secret until the last 3 ep. How did that story go, remember, they went on a trip together having fun, the 3 friends. But Hee Soo suffered from the cancer during the trip. Her ending scenes are so so sad. Becoming Witch is 10/10 for me. It's harder to watch the second time (I have watched it 6 times, 7 starting soon). Now I can't watch that repeat with Lee Yoo Ri in this series. Good grief.

Damn! Damn! Damn! TRIGGERED! I knew it. If you watch this (and you should), I will cry, or at least get a couple eyes full of water. They, the drama, tried to put a smile on the last scene. Well, I didn't. Good drama. It feels like it should just be light melodrama. The heavy part of this serious just makes the undertone of emotions heavy. Good watch.

This series really has to come together to work. Concept of ghosts and crime solving not new. So the stories and the acting will make or break it. I am going with make it. ep 1-2 were fun with some nice twist and turns. The possessions funny. The set up with ep 3 good and gritty. Established the leads easy. I was vested in FL idol and the crooked twist with the jealousy. ep 4, slayed it. The sad-happy was true k-drama emotions. The possession in 3-4 funny and really sad. But the story is good and acting great. I am a sucker for k-drama fix it all at the end of the show, everybody happy. I got stuck between the - oh no come on that is so sad; and the oh man that is happy. Either way, watery eyes and I am in for the whole deal now.

6.5 too low. I did a 7.5. This is not a fight movie, martial arts, epic battles is not the theme. It's a drama, hence Kdrama. The story is about injustice that provides the motivation for the ML. He just happened to have "bodyguard" as part of his history. Not a tearjerker or sophisticated plot. Straight forward bare to the bones lost love and bunch of thugs providing the backdrop. The cast is good. And the ending was just right. In reading comments here. I come away with it was not a cut and paste "action, drama" so it is less. Nonsense.

I know, I know. I'm 5 minutes in. What a horrible start to a comedy. It's major drama powerful. The opening scenes are just sad. Be back later. Ok, finished. It's a good movie. I am doing 8.5 for my rating. Lee Re is a real presence on screen. I was impressed when she was in Hello Me. Choi Kang Hee dominates her space, but Lee was equally impressive. She is still impressive. The cast and writing are good. The director brought it together, flowing, no down time.

However, comedy is not a word I would use to describe this movie. It is sad, tense, depressing. Lots of upbeat time, and a strong moral lesson. I did laugh out loud 2 times. Smiled a plenty. But I spent more time choked up with heavy empathy for Lee's character.

Half of hits movie is pure Kdrama. But, yea, that's why I watch Kdrama. Like all good Kdrama, it is true to form with the ending. Well played. I really did leave with a big smile, and maybe a tear of happiness.

I usually don't make I dropped it posts. I sorta wanted to test the community to see if was just me.

That was the only reason I stayed to ep. 9. Her story and the actress work.

Probably just me. I don't connect with the cast. Only the 2 moms. The CEO feels like the fifth wheel. Odd one out. There just isn't any connection in his character with any of the other cast. Bad guy or not. The rest of the cast, absolutely average, not enough to get over my waning interest. I am out at episode 9 and half. At episode 2 I had the rating set at 8. But just slow creep down from there. Just me. I would say about a 7 - weak writing.

The content and circumstances of this series have been covered in many different ways. Many series tell this story in one way or another. Cast, writers, director really came together here. It sets itself apart from a typical rough school drama. The cycle of outcasts thru bff and then the doom is emotional. The intensity increased with each episode building and building. The last two episodes really brought the pain. Maybe because I know anger and the need to get some payback, Si Eun's explosion triggered me. I do not stay thru a series to see the last episode or two. I stayed in this series because it is good and the last two episodes are excellent.
By the by. This series carries all the drama without beatings girls or sex. ++

Success is measured by endurance. I first watched this movie in 1981. Since then everytime I watch it, it is the same messaging. It is 1954 in Japan. Japan could not make any movies about culture history of material from 1929 to around 1960. Martial arts and costume period films is all Japan had for international release. This movie spawned movies in many languages. Even massive hit Magnificent Seven in the US. Even at that, this movie held true thru years of disdain for Japanese following WWII. Here is today, as I watch again, a master class of film making.

This is crazy. The ending is cruel. Not the normal twist at the end to a smile. Simply cruel. This is worth watching. I run it a 7.5

Ugg. Goofy yes. Funny yes. Soul crushing yes. It almost just slips in, all the emotions for a Zombie. The story is good and the cast absolutely nailed it. And I mean, right at that moment, my soul was crushed. Being a Korean drama, we all know there is the twist to recover at the end, but the soul crush was traumatizing. At least I know I am not weird. Plenty of others teared with me.

Just uugg. Dropped.

I tried. Cusack, no way, hack. The action fighting is good. Most everything else blah. The last half just kept getting crappier and crappier. So bad I dropped it with less than 15 mins left. It was like slow mo sticking a fork in my eye.

I have watched this 5 times. The ending is magnificent. It breaks my heart every time. This cast does amazing work. Kudos to the writers and directors. 7.9 my ass. It's full on 8.5 for me.

This is kinda disappointing. I think the actors are getting all they can get out of this. Good acting. The first hour has some really good scenes. Funny, mysterious, flirty. Beautiful scenery and scene shooting. Many lighthearted and silly scenes. Some serious drama focused scenes. But all the good stuff can't get pass the scatter-brained story. The story scatters scenes around like corn flakes in a hurricane. An hour and 20 mins in the story tries to go dark, evil. But comes off like a bad coloring book. Goofy, disjointed. Not in the flow with the first half of the movie with good fight scenes. I am going to break my own rules here. I don't rate movies I drop above 6.5. But the actors are doing good and the first half had great scenes. So I will drop a 7 on this dropped movie.

Some Dale and Tucker vs Evil, with funny funny twist. Some Bruce Cambell in here. The Book has major implications. The goat, yes, it's here to. I see a few different influences and dare I say it, sampling. Cast is great. True to D&T with the suicidal teens, with a twist. Overall, a solid 8.

This is soul crushing. It is a 9 from me. Kim Si Eun dominates the first half of the movie. Her portrayal of So Hee is amazing and super - super depressing. Then Bae Doo Na (master actress in my favorite top list) steps in to finish the suffocating weight of the doom forced onto So Hee. The writing/directing/acting were all too good. Everyone rating this lower than an 8/8.5 is doing so because they are completely flattened and depressed. This is just one of the most depressing shows I have ever seen. There is discussion about the theme of the show. Does this really happen? Is it really this soul less? Just South Korea - No, it is a story from South Korea, but this is not unique to S. Korea. The discussion of reality is interesting, sort of. But this show stands on it's own. I don't need to compare it with anything. Taken at face value it is heart breaking, soul crushing, and just I don't know, add some cuss words here or something. Hats off to Kim. She absolutely nailed it.

Wonderful cast and directing. Writing is good that it allows for the cast to really pull out a butt load of personality clashes. I did some cop time, carried a gun as LEO 25 years. Got to say that twist at the end is a major trigger. I cannot put myself in that position and have any idea which way I would have went. 50/50 on walk away or shoot away. Go Hyun Jun is a master in this character type. I have an issue with lack of separation issue with Korean actresses. I carry over my last impressions. So, as Go can be a real dead pan meany, I am still willingly to give her empathy at the end. I really think she is beautiful and she sings when she talks. Oh well, nothing like have crushes on actresses, I guess. I went 8.5 on this mainly because the characters had real depth.

yea. calm down. it's called "fiction" for a reason. you obviously and readily understand the twist to the ending as evil and deceiving, not otherwise. i think all of us christians, well anyone who believes in the God of Abraham and Mosses, understand that. So yes stand up and shout for good over evil. but in context or you are shouting at yourself.
