I was reading some comments by EcoTVSubs and a few others. This is my understanding: Adopted/step- mother came up with a plan for Togo's father to have a mistress, she couldn't have a child herself. This relationship resulted in Togo being born. When he was 8, his biological mom got sick. He was officially recognized as the heir after died when he was 10. He overheard the comment of his adoptive mom, he became of afraid of her. It doesn't seem well conveyed but I get the impression he sees her as crafty and mistrusts her. There are holes in this storyline... can someone who read the manga explain a bit more detailed?
