I made no such statement or agreement. LOL It's not like I'm working up a sweat over it. If I reply that is my own business. If you do or don't, that is yours.

In America when I was young, I went to school with several siblings from one family, they adopted me into their world. We were tight. We hung out together 5-6 days a week. I call the parents mom and dad. I was at every family event and holiday. I would sleep over at their house. One day, about 7-8 years into our relationship, one of the brothers about 1.5 years older than me, said he liked me, hoped we could date. It surprised at first, I wasn't expecting it. BUT ...we were close, but it wasn't my physical brother asking me out. None of the family or our other friends thought it was weird that he liked me. I wasn't his real sister. The parents were very supportive of the idea. In the end, I didn't date him, but it had to do with our different personalities and goals in life.

Yes, but that is how he saw her when they were children. It doesn't mean that context doesn't have room to grow into something else 15 years later as adults. I have lived in the US and Asia. Super close childhood friends occasionally fall in love as adults. This use to be extremely normal many generations ago. Chinese also have a have a nostalgic emotion around the idea....Fated to be together.

It's not creepy, unless you take a narrative thats not there. Nothing is perverted or sexual. Even in english speaking countries school kids will say they are sworn blood brothers or sisters. It an innocent expression that states they have a deeper loyalty bond as close childhood friends.

Don't twist the context. They were children when they met. They shared a close emotional connection, a bond of mutual love and loyalty as one would have with a blood family member. Again, remember those promises and feelings were established by very young children.
I only regret not watching this drama before now. It's such a well written, edited and acted production. Amazingly only 6 hours, so it's a perfect for that rainy day at home. I wouldn't classify this as a normal rom-com. It carries the elements of a healing drama too. I'd recommend having a few tissues in hand, for those beautiful and heart-touching moments.
All these short dramas and most of them aren’t even on Tencent Video for me.
Many of the short dramas end up on tencent's mini drama youtube a little later. They end up showing each episode a couple days apart first, once it is over they will fuse them together into a movie type formate.
Duboku.tv typically has the raw version of Chinese dramas up first. As for this drama, it seems like the subbed version comes a day later on sites like dramacool and kisskh.
I've enjoyed the first 7 episodes.
