Sometimes people start a drama with a 0 rating when they begin it and then move the rating up over time, other people start with 10 and move down as the drama goes on.
Personally, I am not a fan of the 0 ratings at the start, it pulls down the number a good deal, in turn it discourages viewers from checking it out.

I enjoyed this drama purely for the leads. I loved the way they support one another and remained strong when everything was coming at them to pull them apart. I laughed a good deal when they were together. I was not a fan however of the unreasonable story leading to their breakup and the FL's meddling mother. I am guessing this was just a way to stretch the story to 40 episodes.
The sister's saga was just ridiculously written. She clearly has some sorta trauma, more than anything she was selfish, vindictive, possessive, and immature. She didn't exhibit the classic behavior of someone who struggles with bipolar. Her husband should never in a million years have been given the "role" of a psychologist.
'Friends relationship" side plot- If their screen time had been cut by 50-60%, and if the characters had more substance in the middle of the story to support the main plot I could understand why they were there. It didn't make any sense why we needed to follow every part of their lives during the 15 episodes they lived entirely separate lives. IDK- I didn't hate them, I wasn't excited about them either. Massive space fillers.

Anyway, I'm happy I watched it for the leads. The end was nicely tied up.

I take 10-14 hour flights a few times a year. A drama like this one is perfect to fill most of the time between take-off and landing.

I loved this version. It's not overfilled with extra fluff and non-sense being only 10 hours long. The characters are a bit more mature IMO and realistic especially compared to the C-drama or Thai versions.
I would rewatch it again, I can't say that about the others.

Risa the sfl is a big part of the story, but her time in the story is not as much as in the other versions. The j-drama version simplifies everything being only 10 hours long.

Suddenly, I was tossed into a world of complete chaos. Yeah... I can also say learned way more than I ever wanted to know.
