Character development where? Camera work where? Plot where? SERIOUSLY PLOT WHERE?? also I am so sick of the clichés where a hero is going off to do their own thing (why?? Who knows, not the writers) and the others have to go and save them because they're an idiot.
Also I really dgaf about Mirr or any of the characters actually. This is ridiculous because we're over halfway through now...but I actually couldn't care less about any of them. We don't even know these characters, what they're fighting for other than a vague sense of saving humanity, and none of them have powers so they keep LOSING. Like these angels are incompetent and boring. How can you make such a cool premise with such cool actors boring??? It's nuts!
I'm literally only going to finish because it's Seo In Guk and Park Hyung Sik, but you best believe I'm watching on 2x speed.
I'm so disappointed because I've been looking forward to this show all year :(
I absolutely love the vibes of this show. It's such a comfort show already. The dialogue flows so naturally and the cinematography is so pretty. Looking forward to more episodes
I just hated the tigers fight scenes. I don't know how they managed to do it, but it looks really unrealistic. He is moving too slow, the punches are slow, anyone actually fighting would see them coming from a mile off and he moves his feet too slowly so it looks like he's turning around to put stuff in the washing machine or something not throw a punch. Despite that, I like their friendship group dynamic and I hope we see more of that and more character development since we don't really know much about any of the angels other than the tiger, the pig and maybe Mirr.
From Wikipedia: "It is developed by Studio S and produced by Mega Monster, Merry Christmas, and Docu-Factory Vista for SBS TV." Studio S is SBS' production subsidiary
I'm on ep 31 and Wen Ning just stabbed the Jin brother in law 😭 I don't know if I can continue watching. The stress my heart is going through. Everyone is going to think wuxian is actually evil wtf . If wuxian actually explained why he was upset instead of pulling out his flute, all this misunderstanding wouldn't happen. I've been avidly waiting for it to go back to the future but now it's obvious the future is more of a mess than I thought
okay I just watched ep 16 and I did not expect it to get this dark at all :( I'm not opposed to dark subject matter but I really can't handle the murder of children. not to mention genocide always fills me with absolute horror for obvious reasons. I'm still going to keep watching but I really wish I knew before I watched that it would have this in it so I could be prepared. Are there any other TWs that should be kept in mind while watching? Honestly child murder or death in general is very hard for me to watch.
I predict this will actually be very good. The unique premise and the hints of plot and 80s setting really imply quality here. For me I don't enjoy dramas set in recent history for whatever reason, but I will keep an eye out for this regardless
