Watched the part where Dong Yuan dies 😭 so so sad. I have to say this show is very confusing but the characters are quite interesting. The direction they put into Dong Yuan's final episode was perfect
I just want to comment to say to people thinking about watching this, you should try it and see for yourself. So far I think I can see where it's going and hoping it will get a better sense of direction as the show goes on. The acting is really enjoyable. I think the main issue is the genres and editing. The show can't seem to choose between comedy, melo, slice of life, action, romance, noir etc. I'm thinking that it will get a bit more focused in following episodes, but we have to watch and see.
What exactly was "bad" about his last drama? And what does a late release have to do with anything?First…
I'm just sharing my opinion as this website and comment section is designed for. you shouldn't let other people's opinions hurt your feelings. I hope as much as you do that this show will be amazing.
I love LDW and LSK so I've been really looking forward to this. I am also, like a lot of people, anxious that this will be bad. I saw the trailer and it wasn't good imo. I don't think it knows what genre it is? it's also a late release and LDW's last drama was quite bad IN MY OPINION. HOWEVER there is a chance this is a My Sweet Mobster in the making. LSK has also never let me down. It has huge potential with the fun premise so just hoping that the script and direction utilised the full potential.
Jeha took a pain med in this episode. I wonder what illness he has? This is so intriguing. Also I feel bad for the SFL. She didn't deserve ML's treatment of her, even if he was going through grief and internalising things he shouldn't be. The fact she still likes him after he said all that to her is wild but I get it. If my ex looked like that, I too would be simping years later
I’m afraid if you think he will go with novel story ? the producer said we changed many things to match the…
but the novel is like 6000 pages long 😅 obviously they would change it but there's no way they can fit even a fraction of the novel's events into two hours. I thought they'd do the movie up to the king making event maximum and make more movies later for the rest. if they're really trying to get to the end of the novel in two hours, which is impossible, then this movie will be absolute dogsh*t
I just read the article where he says it 🤯 unbelievable. I'm just going to think of it as an alternate universe story
or Viki obviously
