This is such a good show, watching it for the fourth time at the moment. I love the comedy, the angst, the romance and the characters. Just a really clever and comforting romance
There's a scene in episode 4 that makes Lee Jun Hyuk's character seem extremely lonely, the one where he's in a massive room all by himself playing with his grown man toys and he gets a text from ML and gets really giddy about it, and his voice echoes in this empty ass room. That's peak characterisation honestly. He really is just a lonely guy with a few screws loose looking for validation. Lee Jun Hyuk also manages to make it adorable somehow despite his character being a psycho.
so many kdramas nowadays that are 8-12 episodes..... we’re losing RECIPES!!!edit: welp i didnt know i was in…
Tbh I think the we should get 16ep again. We're just getting less entertainment now it's like shrinkflation yanno. Also the person above who said all 16ep KDramas were shit is out of their mind. Tons of my favourite ever KDramas have 16 episodes and would not have been as good if they were only 12
can anyone tell me if yun gap is a main character after the first episode or just gang cheol? any love triangle?
Just GangCheol. Yun Gap has yet to make a reappearance. No love triangle as of ep10 unless you count the fact FL had a crush on Yun Gap but obviously he's not around so... There was a brief SFL moment, but it's not treated seriously and gets shut down pretty quickly
It's taken me no joke two months to watch the first 9 episodes, but it's like savouring a bar of chocolate. I can't watch too much at once, but I absolutely love every episode when I watch it.
Getting through the first three episodes is the hardest because of the runlength being an hour and a half. It takes a while to get used to the pacing and warm up to the characters but once you do, watching feels like soaking in a bubble bath.
Each character is so charmingly written especially Joon Ho and Je Hyuk. Their friendship is lovely and heartwarming. Episode 9 was my favourite so far because of the backstory on their friendship and the focus on Joon ho's character.
same I am in episode 10 right now. I didn't like the love triangle, there was no chemistry between the ML and…
I agree, her saying I love you to the ML was so cringe because the whole romance felt like it came out of nowhere and went way too fast, and a lot of it while she was under the impression they were related and ML was okay with her thinking that as well 🤢
literally the moment before she said I love you, I was thinking this has gone way too fast, why do they even like each other it's so unrealistic, and then she came out with that and I had to pause and take a moment lmao
