I always love Yoo Je Won style of directing, he is the type that let actors become so comfortable to explore characters and story while still directing them to clear vision. But this in this drama his direction is a bit too loose and unclear, especially in editing process. That's why some people feels the actors carry this drama. The storytelling is not neat. I still like some of his choices and adore the way he directing on set, but in editing part I think something happen. It feels a bit rush.
I didn't know fully, but I remember this drama has some change in airing schedule, I think that make the production time shorter and he didn't get his usual editing time. Maybe, that's the reason. I think LND didn't reach it's highest potential.

I love that this drama not only change place setting but also calculate social, cultural and time setting. Ju Won, San Ha and Hae Jun are not Jian Jian, Ling Xiao and Zi Qiu, they have similar soul and story but different people. Even though I already know the general storyline it's not boring or feel repetitive because both have their own story and charm.
One character that I hope will have little more drastic change is Park Dal. I hope she end up with Hae Jun🤞

After everything happen to Seokryu, I'm just happy she get a happy life. Actually, it doesn't really feel like an ending. It's like hearing a friend telling some chapters of their life. That vibe is consistent since episode one and I think that's the charm of this drama.
Only one episode left (I consider BTS as plus episode) and maybe some character diaries(?). Then I'll properly said goodbye to this friend. Every good byes always make my heart heavy.
