it's not well written the story has a lot of flaws in it, even the villains are not making any sense and no backstory unto why they are doing it, I dunno for you but for me it's badly written

no communication is not hard, I would rather the FL had told him and like punished him thoroughly when she saw him than her keeping malice which is more harder, like something that hurts soo much instead of venting it out she kept it in for like centuries not telling him then after that she plotted to kill him again but this time he got a whole sect of people fighting for her, now that I remember did she tell them why she wanted to kill him NO, the plot was all over the place if the writer had wanted to do it she could have made their feud more reasonable and realistic as possible like Def no flaw. ML character is 😣😣😣....

yeah but the misunderstanding were too exaggerated and dramatic I understand their misunderstanding but then it's too exaggerated and I'm not the only one who feels like this. to summarise both leads are insufferable too ML keeps showing how much love he has for her and doesn't know what she went through, didn't tell her what he'd been through, FL manipulating the ML into falling for her again and punishing him for centuries without telling him what he did I can go in on and it's just pure headache

overall this story is a 6.5 for me even though it hasn't ended, I'll drop it here

I really don't wish for both of them to end up together even if they do it doesn't count as happy ending just like ru yue said too much has happened between them, I dunno how they'd change the plot from one of them wanting to kill eachother to spend the rest of their lives together them being together at the end will be like forcing two opposite magnet to come together. the story writer already made the story so complicated. unnecessary villains and romance, this drama is literally just "falling in love again after the misunderstanding we had for centuries".

I'm in for the suspense and I love the moody yet atmospheric vibes it gives, anyone noticed that the producers and directors are mostly women it makes the drama more unique for me I don't know about other but this is how I feel, even the trailer and teasers carry a lot of weight and suspense.

I've been crying for 30 minutes straight from episode 31-34 I finally gathered courage to complete it and I can say that I cried, infact I have headache now the ending was so beautiful I loved it.

so I wanted to say that dyk that zhouyichen looked for zhouyuanzhou for 6 years after his death and we can conclude that it has a happy ending, at the end of the special episode Zhou yichen found his soul which means that he will be reborn again and they can live happily ever after. so I'm kinda satisfied with the ending even though Bai jiu and yinglei death was unnecessary I loved it, guo joining sure knows how to draw tears from your eyes

just finished watching this drama. it was great but I'm not satisfied with the ending, they decided to give us an amnesia phase and he remembers 3 mins before it ends overall this drama deserves a 7.5/10 the first 10 episode was sooo good but they ruined it with the other half, the plot itself is unique I love it but in my opinion I don't think it deserves the hype it got when it was released. I dunno what they were thinking when writing the 2nd half
