Anyone else could have played the ML's & I wouldn't have been at this level of disappointment. IMO, OffGun took roles that were good enough for them 5 + years ago & maybe taking a step down to simpler work was what they wanted but it will make me think twice about whether or not I want to waste my time watching their next project together.
Look, all I'm hoping for is that there are absolutely no scenes in which I have to watch Peat "cry". I just can't handle one more minute of it. Fingers crossed.

As a parent myself I do say Daddy a lot...to my kids. I think if I actually called my husband Daddy in the other way, awkwardness would ensue & never to be spoken of again LOL
Um, it's cute. I like that it's light on the inner monologues & over the top "comedy" but I don't really think it pulls on the beautiful emotional drama that some of the other Japanese BL's have.
I think the chemistry between the ML's is a little...far off? Way over there? IDK. The subs say "love" but I can't think that that's right. It just seems too shallow at this stage?
I'm OK with Soga voicing his confusion because I think that would be an understandable reaction. I get, & am disappointed, that the writers feel a pop up ex is needed...lazy writing? And I'm happy that we have a rare female character in a BL that is not a shitty bitch. I really like the best friend & their friendship.
I was a little surprised that they showed a couple of seconds of intimacy with the ex. Not necessarily a fan of this type of "imagination" that some writers/directors think we need to see to understand.
Allow me to mention the obvious, which is that Strongberry startlingly out-performs in writing, directing, & acting with their mere 20 minutes & if I were the other companies I'd be very worried that one day Strongberry will receive enough funds that would ultimately lead to my demise.
Strongberry picks these incredible actors & gives them this awesome script & the actors show up & kill it EVERY TIME & that is the effin tea.
Pizza & First were my faves but First kinda sorta lost me with this last episode. I know he needs help but I'm really trying to forgive him.
I'm all in for Aob/Puen, couldn't care less about Zooey/Teena or Keen, Phop/Nuth make me want to scrub my skin with Brillo, been on the fence about Nont/Prom, want to take Jump home to give him some love, & I absolutely despise Captain & Porsche LOL.
I'm invested & proud of it LOL - I need to know what happens!
