There is something about japanese slow paced dramas that I dearly cherish: they convey deep, strong and raw emotions and portray life stories that are realistic and relatable.
Actors also bring lot of genuinity and sincerity to their characters ennough to have me immerged in the scenes and get caught in alll the feelings...
A simple storyline yet deep, reflective, moving...
It's a slow paced slice of life that reminded me what and how life is lived for most to sustain a living: Simple, Mundane, Routine, Humble...
The life lesson from this would be to appreciate life in its small bits and cherish its simplest moments... It also shed a light on how growing old and alone can be plain, linear and quiet...
The sceneries were great and the choice of songs was very smart and relevent throughout the scenes.
Short, mighty, entraitaining and bingeable ππΌ
The story flows super well and it's flawlessly executed. There was a great acting synergy between all the family members β¨ I also liked the dark atmosphere and the gloominess of the house of the Shinobi.
The show is packed with smooth, fast and sharp action scenes for the lovers of ninja fights...
The soundrack choice was outstanding: the songs were so relevant to some scenes and sounded like a perfect description.
Sooo Underrated! I am so glad I gave it my time and all my attention. It's a mature one, meaningful, moving, slow, deep, calls for lot of thoughts processing and sinking... It anchors to the inner self and shakes the inner peace. It's a delight to the eye, the ears and the heart...
The writing is brilliant, the cinematography mastered and the 2 main leads charismatic performance was genuine, sincere and touching β₯οΈ
The boundary between being lost and being found is thin... At any stage of life, at any age, any human being would doubts its worth, feel lost, feel the void, the emptiness and the sadness within... It is all the result of each one life story and its marks on the soul... These troubled times are lived on the edge but also are carried alone and dealt with by the soul, the inner self, the inner voice... Until the soul is healed and the inner peace is reached...
Offbeat, Kitsch and dark comedy with a serious subject in the background...
I watched it in the memory of the late LSK and I once again confirm how versatile and genuine was this actor... He could play any role and bring his touch to it with lot of dexterity and depth. He will be missed!
Full of action, twists & turns with a touch of "Tomb raider" fights' style and a "Lara Croft" character that delivered a great show ^^
The actions scenes felt like an immersive game: it keeps the viewer on the edge of its seat, alert and focus to not loose a bit ππΌ
The story of the mastermind uncle and his niece developed very well. It was interesting to watch how he life schooled her so she evolves and becomes a strong and invincible character πͺπΌ

Since I have an unconditional love for cats, I was intrigued by the title of the movie as I just can't imagine a world without cats...This is how I gave this one a try ^.^ and it was worth it β€οΈ
Slow, Melancholic, poetic, introspective, inquisitive... I loved how the story flows and how the ML performed.
One more day of life without the precious memories is just lame...
"Life Is A Tragedy When Seen In Close-up, But Comedy In Long-shot", Chaplin
Not as good as I expected of this slice of life. It was still missing a spark for me...
Beside the healing story, the strong community involvement and the life lessons that can be relatable, it was a rollercoaster for my interest: sometimes up, sometimes down, sometimes catchy, sometimes boring, it sure was a bit disapponting and a hassle to wrap up... It also felt unnecesseraly long at times due to fillers. The main leads romance was not that strong to my humble opinion. The long term friendship felt stronger. The little girl acting and attitude were the real deal for me in all her appearences π«ΆπΌ
Slow, quiet, contemplative, soothing... it felt like a warm embrace β€οΈ
Jung Woo Sung silent and wordless acting spoke louder than words. He brought so much sensitivity, calmness, warmth and comfort. His emotions felt so genuine and deep. I was so moved in many scenes.
The FL character was soft and kind-hearted that it felt endearing and provoqued unconditional empathy and sympathy.
Words are not everything... silence can be loud too... And in love, differences can be enriching yet challenging...
A bit cheesy for my taste. The story was weak and missing some depth and consistancy...
The way the FL quickly and easily adjusted to the "new joseon" was annoying. It felt so unatural and far-fetched.
I could have dropped watching it but I always give the benefit of the doubt that I might be wrong or that it might get better. For this one it was definitely not the case. It was still missing a spark.
This work is outstanding in every aspect and worths the watch and all the attention ππΌ
I loved how the 12 lives/deaths were connected and came around full circle with lot of twists and thrills... The story builds up great and meaningful.
Some parts were full of wisdom and bring the viewer back to the reality of existence: life, death, love, dispear, grief, sadness, happiness, resilience...
Episode 4 and 8 were the most emotional ones, sad and heartbreaking...
Death is definitely just the begining of another round...
Definitely worth the watch, time and attention β¨ Amazing main leads synergy: both actors genuinly delivered a great performance. The girl played a great major role and sustained a charismatic and a consistant character throughout the 12 episodes. I am so amazed how some very young korean actors can deliver such performances so naturally and maturely ππΌ
The kidnapping story has a dystopian kind of back story that made it evolve and catch the interest and the curiosity.
Actors also bring lot of genuinity and sincerity to their characters ennough to have me immerged in the scenes and get caught in alll the feelings...
This one was definitely one of them β₯οΈ

It was realistic and relatable since it relayed life situations about loss, love, regrests, hope...
The characters were from diverse backgrounds and genuinely portrayed their stories.
The soundtrack was also excellent and the background music flows well with the scenes.

The acting was extremely good that the movie felt real and emotions were palpable and heatfelt...
In his most vulnerable times, every human deserves a commited and a resilient "Hisashi kinda person" by his side π«ΆπΌ

The story is so moving and heartbreaking. Its flows from despear to hope, from hate to love, from dark to light, from sadnesss to joy...
I loved how the actors gave this story life: the 3 main characters were so natural and genuine and their emotions were felt raw and real <3

The main leads were phenomenal in portraying the 2 characters. It felt so real and immersive.
It's a movie that carries a strong message against bullying. I wish it reaches its target audience and awaikens consciences.

I watched it just after the rushy "A shop for killers" and I think that why I felt the drop of the rythme. Maybe, I should have spaced out the two...
The ML performance was good but I think the story was missing some strong links and weight to make the thriller stand out.
Overall it's an OK watch as long as the expectations are left low before engaging in.
