A Slow-paced story, a flow of Melancholy, sadness, loneliness, and hardship...
My last thought after watching this drama: Love and forgiveness take way less effort and energy than hate and revenge... The power of letting go of what hurts can lead to a better and much more comfortable place.
Some of the scenes took me back to bits of "My mister" drama. I had this impression quite often and felt some slight similarities but it did not lower or impact my interest of watching this drama.
Young Kwang is a quite impressive and versatile actor: from a disturbing psycho in "Somebody" to a softhearted soul in "Call it love", he sure got some genuine talent right there <3
A slow-paced movie for a chill night watch. It captures some happy and sad moments of a slice of life... a flow of sadness and heavy atmosphere scenes.
Amazing cinematography and aesthetics, color popping scenes, exceptional and immersive visuals, beautiful landscapes and sceneries... my eyes were delighted and enjoyed every bit of it.
Both the leads actors were true assets to this work. I really loved how Min's character was laid-back, relaxed but emotionnaly mature, consistant, full and deep. His gaze and face expressions were captivating in every scene...
I hope season 2 will be as remarkable as the first one. Can't wait 😊
I've just read that you are from Morocco. I hope you're ok 🙏
Thank you so much for you thought 🙏🏼 I am ok thanks to god but the people in the south have it worse 🥺 it will take time and patiance to fix it all. god bless all humans wherever they are 🫶🏼
This movie is raw, factual and dedicated to Women. It akhowledges their social issues, Motherhood, Emotional and psychological precarity, Social pressure, Dreadfull life, Mental load, Glass ceiling, Discrimination... And the list is long!
Anywhere in the world, women are living life the hardest and in silence for most of them ...
The kind of movie you want to watch when you're in need to chill and have a low pace story... Something that takes your mind somewhere to your past lives and makes you wonder about your own fate and destiny 인연 <3
A mature drama and a quite consistant storyline. It kept my interest throughout the way. It builds up and evolve consistantly.
It includes many aspects of modern life: Social and public facade, Glass ceiling, Woman empowerment, Power abuse, Media power...
The last episode wrapped up awkwardly fast and the end felt a bit rushed in my taste.
One thing that annoyed me the most while watching is the FL flawless makeup at all situations: sleepless night/ detention / after waking up / sleeping / on air / after crying... She kept the same face and glowed at all occasions. It felt so unnatural and did not bring the actress to the raw reality of each scene.
The story builds up smoothly and nicely <3 I am glad I gave it a go and I was pleased it was all worth it at the end.
Both leads' performance was heartwarming, genuine and sincere. Just the right dose of every emotion expressing and portraying the heaviness of their trauma...
I also loved the fact that this show was quite realistic and relatable.
I am a big fan of Korean fantasies dramas but this particular one was not my cup of tea!
I was gonna drop it after the 2nd episode but then trusted an imdb review to go beyond that and I did. I did not wanna be hasty and judgy and gave it a chance to hook me at some point. I finaly finished watching it but felt missing something and lacking connection along the way...
Nevertheless, it was aestheticaly pleasant to the eye and IU was impressive but that was not enough for me to feel satiated :)
A Masterpiece! Truly a top-notch drama/thriller. A well balanced mix of emotions. A strong storyline/storytelling/plot. Well executed to the slightest detail. BRAVO
Joon-Gi was the perfect fit for this role: Everything about him was disturbing and unsettling but endearing at the same time. His acting gave the character a whole dimension that made me feel immersed in every part of his scenes.
Episode 11 was particularly one of a kind: nerve wrecking and heartbreaking. It kept me gripping on the edge of my seat... A whole load of feelings and emotions.
My last thought on this one: In the ugliest life moments and memories also lie genuine love and beauty <3
This show was worth every single minute of my time and attention :)
It's amazing how South Korean upped their game when it come to Fantasies and period pieces. Sooo high standard.
This show gets better along the way: the story, screenwriting, actors, cinematography are fully consistant, thrilling, entertaining and convincing... it all keeps you on the edge of your seat at some points.
For theses types of productions, I am always amazed by the amount of time and efforts invested in every single scene to be filmed: the detailing, the imagination, the makeup, the big picture,... are a work of art. Respect and Big Up to all the behind the scenes hands that make it possible :)
All the credits go to Suzy Bae who was very deep, disconcerting, intriguing, convincing... For me it was more the actress performance than anything else.
The last episode strongly moved me... especialy that I am still struggling with processing the loss of my dearest human being, my dad :'(
These words were particularly strong and meaningfull: "Although you can't see someone, it doesn't mean they're not with you. As long as you remember, they are not gone"...
This is the first ever review from a kdrama viewer from Morocco ^.^ I postponed watching Our blues for quite sometimes but I finally watched it these past days and I am glad I did :) Away of a cliché romance and light comedy, this show was about life realities, issues, struggles, hassles, love, loss, and everything shaping a real life for any human being anywhere in the world... It showcased many life situations that made it relatable and endearing. Despite being a bit sad and heavy on the heart in some parts, it kept me hooked all the way and gave a weight to hope and faith in humanity... It's a show about life lessons, life perspectives, the danger of misjudgment and misunderstanding, the importance of unity, social cohesion and empathy... United we stand, Divided we fall *\o/* The work of actors was also a delight: it cannot get more real and raw as it is. Thanks to this show, I virtually fell in love with Jeju Island and I will probably add it to my must see list whenever I have a chance to visit South Korea <3 Give it a try with an open mind and heart, you will not regret it ;) Cheers
