Hey, kdramachic. First of all, I would like to tell you that it has been a pleasure getting to know you through your writings and the decent, gracious, and intelligent way you "argue" with the haters. I was happy to meet so many special people who stood by Kim Soo Hyun all this time, and you are one of them.
Although there were very exhausting moments while I was working on cleaning up this page, I learned a lot of things. And I used MDL differently than the simple way I used to before this "episode". 😊
As for favorite actors and actresses, I’ve never been consistent when it comes to actors, because I like them all; my favorites depended on the dramas I happened to enjoy at the time, I would follow a particular actor and then watch every drama or movie I could find featuring them. That’s pretty much how I chose my favorites: based on when I discovered them and watched their shows. I chose „my favorite“ actors not only based on their appearance but also on their acting skills; some won me over with their looks, while others impressed me with their charisma and the way they played their roles.
The first Korean film I watched, and the one that introduced me to my first favorite actor, So Ji Sub, was „Always“. It was recommended to me, even though I hadn't previously watched any K-dramas or anything Asian at all. To me, they all seemed Chinese, and I couldn't even tell the characters apart. The character he played, however, was fascinating, and he looked less Asian; his hair was not black and was even wavy.
At this moment, I’m not watching any K-dramas, only Chinese ones, so my only favorite actor right now is Kim Soo Hyun. ❤💕
One of my favorite films, however, is "Luck-Key" (2016).
When I think about which actress I like the most, she is someone who is underrated but simply brilliant in my eyes. I don't think she's even on my list, but I really like her a lot. Her name is Kim Seul Ki. (I just checked; she is on my list.😊 It would have been a shame if she hadn't been included, since she is one of my favorites.)

However, my very favorite comes from a completely different segment, namely, K-pop. Since I discovered him, only Kim Soo Hyun has been able to keep up with him. My favorite kpop idol of the last two or three years has been Kim Mingyu from Seventeen.
