I'm a huge fan of Izumi Takahashi and this one was really good though not my favorite. Basically it's a depiction of evil you don't usually see. I was involved with the main character but tbh I was a bit disappointed with the actor. Regardless I was able to enjoy the movie.
Basically this film is about how trauma changes you and makes you helpless. And if you run you just hurt others in your path who're innocent.
That's why if you do decide to get involved in someone's life you can't just do it halfheartedly because your actions have consequences.

I know I keep saying HIStory creators always get better and it's the same with Trapped. The right amount of skin ship, cuteness, angst, and passion for a perfect guilty pleasure watch and as always the chemistry between both the couples was through the roof! I really enjoyed this story gangster and cop is one of my favorite tropes.
But even though its supposed to be a tropey guilty pleasure watch the writing and dialog is so damn good.
Seriously, I got just as attached to both the couples!
Absolutely loved it!
So naturally felt like it ended way too soon. But not because it felt rushed or anything, just because I got super attached to the characters.
And ok word of caution, there are some dark turns in this one like Obsessed. Nothing too dark and the overall mood is hopeful but angsty.

I hate when bromance story arcs are added for more viewership and despite all the fuss, in the end they ruin it. So even if the romance part is good, you can't buy a guy who is this way to his nephew, could be any better for the female lead . Honestly, Park Hyungsiks character treats Ji Soo much better than this uncle did and they weren't even related lol
Now, for the good points.
This drama is so funny and no annoying jokes either nothing too over the top. But that's not the only thing. Both male leads are gorgeous, and I do love Yang Se Jong since Duel but I'm having serious second lead syndrome because of Yoo Chan! And the animals in this drama aren't just there for decoration they're totally part of the cast lol I love that! I'm going to miss the chick and Peng.
One of my favorite jokes was Yoo Chan asking the chick if he's was hyung or oppa ^_^ LMAO
So, yes it's definitely an entertaining show and worth a watch but didn't get attached to it.

This is part of what I have begun to refer to as canon-fandom homework. You like a ship you like an actor and you will have to sit through some series that will truly question your loyalty to any particular fandom. You like Joong Dunk you have to sit through Hidden Agenda to get to something like Heart Killers.
You like Santa, Aou, Boom, you will have to sit through this show.
I have started to see it as one of those things that are part of being in any Fanclub, so I try not to get so bitter about it.
After all, if Santa's role gives you dang cavities there's always the option of watching Jasp.er sadistic over and over again as much as needed until you get all the sweet and fluff washed out of your system.
So, yes, like I said these shows can be a lot of work, but they do give you some nice fluff and even some kissing scenes to tide you over until their agency releases the next one.
This is pretty much the vibe here.
For me personally, I was only there for Santa and Aou Boom and I got a good helping of both because despite the issues the Santa Perth arc actually had some genuinely good moments, I enjoyed no matter how fluffy.
But obviously the highlight for me personally Aou Boom.
I honestly zoned out for most of this but just love me a good toxic codependent couple who are both extremely gorgeous/pretty/all of it.
The skin ship when it comes to the rest was again cutesy at best but these two really kicked it up a notch and their 'plot' to use the term loosely, revolved around the same old violence to others and to each other and being assholes and then magically fixing themselves.
But I forgave a lot when they got to the final proposal scene cause that shit was pretty well done. Gave me some amount of closure at the very least.
So, rating this a little bit generous solely on those sentiments.
But overall, this show has some good friendships and the typical comedy cringe which otp but not all bad, there were some genuinely hilarious moments and not to mention the first part of the Santa Perth story was actually decent and had me hooked. But then it all got pretty repetitive/redundant. Which happened with Aou Boom too but the thing is I wasn't exactly expecting a major plot the moment I watched the first few episodes, and my expectations were low, so I had fun for at least about half of the series and the rest was pretty difficult to sit through though.
Even the parents storyline was done with the same lack of anything meaningful.
[Perth: I hate my mom! I wish I never had to see her face again! ]
[Santa: Bro, you shouldn't hate your own mother. ]
[Perth: Okay, I believe you my cute boyfriend. I won't do it again because now you have fixed me. ]
istg that's what every conflict was like! It got on my nerves!
because conflicts appear and the next moment get resolved and pretty much everyone was there to deliver a bunch of one liners.
That is the full story of my experience of watching this.

It's a Sammon show how can it not be good! Well, as always she brought it this time too, and with these two have bestowed me some serious nostalgia though, you know who doesn't love it when the same group members do something romantic and get more into each other? Right ? Just me ? Well, okay then. I would have taken it if they never actually got together but they did and damn if that kiss wasn't one of the most satisfying shit ever! Slow burn enemies with a Sammon plot what more can you ask for? This one is about the morality of euthanasia. Personal opinion myself hey I'm pretty much one of those 'libtards' who happens to agree a human being should be allowed to die as they want but maybe that's just me..But tbh Boss bruh his character got to me so much.
Like he was just damn ... His story arc made me so sad.
But this show is on the whole really well made with a good cast pretty much everything is on point.
The only thing that doesn't work for me personally that ending.
Showing him confess to the police because he loves the guy and not because he actually blvs he did anything wrong? That just doesn't make much sense to me personally, because I would have preferred the doctor to just get away with it because Boss already died for this guy, but I also get why creators make such choices because of censorship or public opinion or viewers who have pretty typical morality the lowest common denominator and what not.
I get those pressures but still if they had given Kan's character some more darkness it would have been better, or even not end it on him confessing and going to prison.
That is pretty much my only suck for this entire show.

I really like it it was a good watch but it had so much potential to be better. Both the main ship and the side couple were actually done well when it comes to character arcs but again the only problem for me was they were going way too slow, and this is coming from a slow burn lover but the main couple it was somewhere between love at first sight and slow burn. Which wasn't the best way to write it.The way everyone deals with the ep 10 conflict was something that came out of nowhere because especially from Patts side he was lashing out in a way that he was only talking about in dialogue with the ex only once he was thinking her for dealing with his anger but I feel like instead of having his character be so completely different from what it was before they should have had him show some of this anger at Tai at some point earlier too even if it was that tiny inkling that should have exploded in ep 10 instead of just doing it out of nowhere all of it in one episode when before he was being too chill too patient like wtf
Also Tai pretty much apologized to him in the end, bruh you just saw your boyfriend kick the shit out of some guy who tried to kiss you and fine it's his fault for lying to him about meeting Fon but Patt could have chosen another way to lash out he could have broken up or something!
After that scene Patt's behavior was pretty much TOXIC and no one loves a hot red flag guy more than me but this show was actually trying to prove that Patt wasn't toxic that he was just drunk/loves Tai too much that's why he was behaving like this, that was his excuse for everything!
So even his own father was clearly telling Tai to get back with Patt like everyone else so it was a lot of normalized toxicity for a story that was supposed to be about progressive love
Despite these issues though and despite me becoming more into Tien and Fon arc after this point and I really like the way they did the soulmate ideas too but for the most part I really enjoyed it all except for the very ending for Patt and Tai but was really happy watching the two idiots Tien and Fon in the last ep was what made the last ep somewhat salvageable.
My personal issue is that love a hot rich red flag guy all you want just don't apologize for the shit you did in reaction to his toxic behavior.
Even if there was a single line towards the end from Patt or Tai that alluded to this this show would be a lot higher rated for me .

So, I just wanted to say I have been waiting for this one since I watched the trailer. but I don't know what I was high on that I remember it looking like a toxic and taboo romance lol which obviously yes please!
but I started watching and at first I didn't know what to think about the fact that it's a horror plot with hex curses and all. I mean look I love all that too, especially ffs Win looks sooo gorgeous! even more so than anything he's in before at for me personally. because damn the way he looked especially in the red coat and the other ensembles !
but okay this one is very much symbolic and everything is either a metaphor for mental health, or toxic relationships, or even fears that people who are different frequently have to suffer.
the bullying from people that turns the victim into a villain themselves, that's what the "curse" on Namsine basically stands for and I love that nuance. The whole part of 'Enigma' is done so well, I just love it.
even though like I said I wasn't sure at the start if I was going to like it but dude I was hooked by the end of ep 1!
I love gross grotesque stuff so that ending reveal blew my mind (θ‿θ) even though I pretty much said it out loud to myself that if it is him that would be BADASS and it was! lol
it was exactly as badass as I thought! I can't wait for the next season

So hard to even rate this . So much cringe 🤣 but I also couldn't stop watching mostly because of Mac Nan. They're no Pete Vegas 😆 but they were my only entertainment after the rest of the show just turned out to be bland and way too cutesy.I mean I was there to see some messed up shit and maybe some proper NC scenes between Day Itt but literally the whole plot involved Day trying to hate on Itt and regaining his memory.
Also, in the beginning Itt is the guy who everyone hates because he keeps acting entitled and keeps asking Day to do things for him and it feels like he's an asshole, but you know that's not what it felt like to me.
Basically he was definitely being manipulated by Day who admitted it! That he wants Itt to get so attached to him that he can never leave.
And then, spoiler alert, when the scene where Day beats the shit out of Itt and definitely rapes him, that was the implication right? it was really well done for sure.
it's just everyone on the show is just TRASH LOL
DAY: Manipulated and VIOLENTLY BEAT UP HIS SO CALLED BF.
ITT : Didn't do shit for Mac even when the poor guy was begging for his help.
Was pretty much involved in letting his friend Gear roofie or whatever it was actually unclear to me, and have definitely nonconsensual sex with Night , Day's actual blood brother.
Mac: Tried to rape Itt.
Nan : Forced Mac to be his human slave.
and this is basically all the main characters!
but hot damn that last episode, Non looked fine af! Everyone actually looked really good in the finale but there were still no actual details about what Gear did to Day's brother Night or why they're even together after he clearly must have done something bad to him for sure.
Rating 6 and not lower because I guess I just needed some mindless cringe and I was mostly just hate watching at first.
But whatever, just going to rate a little bit higher for Mac and Nan, the couple who don't even know what the word 'red flag' means and are definitely color blind like me. and actually pretty much everyone is, but that part is fine lol I just wished it was a little more ... less bland and cute.
like something so DARK would happen and you'd expect it to get darker and get somewhere , but then some damn boring af cute scenes between Day Itt. which frankly, were just SO BAD.
Like I love when BL shows do cute right.
like Gene Sib, or Sky Prapai, or Leo Fiat. Even Cutie pie has some great cute scenes that are adorable ! But they were just not good at all at it.
so it's not a cutesy romance and it's not a full on KP level MESSED UP either. it's just kinda meh . and that one villain ffs he was literally even more garbage than anyone else.

xx --- So spoilers ahead --- xx I honestly thought it was pretty entertaining and I loved Boom she was a class act till the end :') I really was shipping her with Tor but he literally became so much of a jerk I was getting pissed and there was no underdog theme with his character because the true underdogs were Bern, Boom, and Stud. And none of their endings felt right to me. I was really hoping Boom would end up with Bern, they were both so supportive and understanding and just generally kind at the core.
As for Stud, another SLS disappointment lol but at least this one I was ready for. Because I knew the spoilers ahead about the love triangle. I mean they couldn't even give him a proper loving kiss with AJ!!! Ffs.
The thing is this show has some good writing if not great, but where it failed for me was the repetitive nature of scenes. Basically the entire second half was Sam saying "nothing I'm doing is good enough for you " and Earth giving some variation of "I hate you for what you did" seriously it got tedious after a while. And tbh despite Stud being 'slutty' there were truly MAYBE two proper HOT SCENES and one of them was Stud and Doc ! And yes why was Arm's character even THERE. he's GORGEOUS , CAN ACT - so why did you not make him part of the story when there was literally no content in the second half.
Another thing that majorly pissed me off was Stud, Bern being called losers because they didn't have a job such typical capitalist propaganda it was just wrong. And Stud man another total fail like Art's arc in WTD. Bunch of racy scenes and after that confession omg I cried for him lol but just a total mess of sl like Rambo. Just literally they could have talked about why he was so impulsive, a mental health issue or even if it is just typical fuckboi behavior give it some nuance.
I didnt even mind Joss was such a text book fuckboi cause he wasn't part of the story, he was just there for Boyo to grow. And Oh and btw Lee and the girl lol I just couldn't get into them as a couple. Literally ended on a HANDSHAKE and felt forced. He was clearly in love with the Joss of chicks lol and when she turned out to be married he finally goes to Boyo. How is that love? And dont even getme started on Boyo lol the woman was an entitled bitch who called her friends sluttyy, shamed them, and even when she'd supposedly grown because she had a career I just couldn't believe she had any real feelings for Good.
As for the happy ending for Sam Earth - tbh I feel cheated. It just feels like an easy way out. And again characterization was lacking here as well, so we never quite understand why Sam is so attached to him. Maybe just staring into eyes isn't enough, and most of their script composed of the same rehashed 'i love youso much, u love you too. The only nuance there was like i said it was either in the Earth Stud relationship or Sam Stud . I know it sounds strange but that kissing scene in the bathroom bw Sam Stud was just SO GOOD!
And when Stud confessed to AJ and even stopped himself from screwing him, he goes 'I ruined the life of the person i love the most.' Like ffs. That's really something. Before till that point it felt like Stud was into Sam. That he wanted to be in Earths place but from the beginning he was trying to come to termswith the fact that he Earth is no longer available. Arm was right all along and probably he realized at some point too that Stud willalways love Earth so he doesn't get close to Stud either.
Anyway so I did enjoy it and going to watch season 2 pretty much just out of curiosity XD hopefully they'll do better

I'm wavering between 6 and 7 for this one but ill just stick to 7. Because while I enjoyed it its no good for a rewatch for me. Mainly because there was something about the fl that I had to really push myself to keep going. But what I loved was their cute and bickering romance and lets face it Mik looks sexy. The second couple was good too i enjoyed their story and that one death really made me sad. So, yes it has its moments for sure but just a one watch thing for me. Also generally I just wasn't too keen on the idea of falling for your ex s lookalike. Like it just doesn't feel like true love, just my opinion. So, its not bad and pretty enjoyable. Was this review helpful to you?

After being bored for five eps finally things got interesting in ep 6 and the finale was actually pretty good. My problem is that this should have been a dark sexy romantic suspense but is just average in every way and got boring for me for the most part so even though the actors were convincing, I felt SO BORED. The prime reason for that being you watch slap and kiss or romantic suspense to watch the couple's interaction, not their separate interaction with the five year old whose voice was terribly dubbed by a female lol or Jun kai s interaction with his sister! I mean this was 15 mins eps they shouldn't have added all that boring ass crap. So, in the end it didn't really do anything for me.
