Buuut not going to lie the male leads freaking gorgeous and it did provide me all that good lakorn angst lol even though my angst came from a different place than other viewers who couldn't find anything wrong with the self righteous father and female lead.
Anyway, seriously the only person who genuinely cared for the male lead was the other girl who I knew was fated to lose because all the self serving self righteous people hated her too.
Again, comparing with the H in Hua Jai Sila, COME ON - like these two females have NOTHING in common! The HJS female lead was genuinely caring and wasn't at all a total bitch, didn't get all judgy and preachy. This one on the other was nothing more than a shallow bitch .
Anyway, not a total waste of time but it could've been so much better.

So, I think to fully enjoy these characters, you need to watch the spin offs especially the Chase one, if nothing else. As for Drive and it's characters, here's what I think.
Drive had some fantastic characters and ideas especially the writing was strong and the antagonists were so well fleshed out when they become anti heroes or just victims of the main antagonists manipulative ways, everyone from Heart, to Brain, to Medic, I felt for them all. But while still a great show, I felt it lacking in some regions - first off Chase. Let's face it Chase was supposed to be the guy everyone was supposed to root for, through his interaction with Kamen Riders and the team sure, but the set up was for Gou right? So, their relationship shouldn't have felt so lacking.
What I mean is, we only see them interacting as Kamen Riders, and barely at all in actual life. I know that Gou was shown as being tsundere and supposed to be stoic but they could still have had actual meaningful conversations like they did those two or three times. Because of this their bromance felt incomplete. When the relationship between Heart and Brain, Heart and Shin Heart Chase was done so well. Even Shin and Gou was better than Gou and Chase. And the thing is its not like there was a lot going on plot wise in the beginning and Chase was introduced pretty early anyway.
The other minor gripe is the beginning part not being as interesting as the second part. Basically this was the time they could have used to develop Chase and Gou and both these problems could have been solved easily.
And okay I love Ryoma he's really done a good job but characters wise I just LOVE Heart Chase, and Gou!!!
But the thing about Drive and the reason I'm rating it high, despite those issues is because much like Build and W, Drive characters are the type that wont leave you alone. You keep wanting to go back. So this one and the spin offs have great re watch value for me.

Aahhh I knew when I was sooooooo happy they were going to make me cry! lol but that's Kamen Rider for you. It's a W Accel cross over too well more like a cameo. Never thought I'd hear the words 'Roimude Dopant' lol
In this story you'll see Chase struggling with his 'mannequin' look and watch Brain pining relentlessly for Heart, so usual Brain lol but waaay more hilarious XD
This is basically the story of how Chase became a real boy :') and seriously Krim was so mean to say that stuff to him! But yes, expect a lot of happiness, a lot of heartbreak and it's all done so perfectly I have no problems at all, it's just that good.

- MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD - Because I'm obsessed with Suda Masaki in case you didn't already know I have seen W more times than I'm comfortable saying aloud lol and okay the thing about Kamen Rider is no matter how cynical you may be you will cry like a baby several times during any season. And for seasons like Amazon, W and Build its even worse. So honestly this season just has that nostalgia factor for me. But while Amazon is super dark, and Build is emotional and angsty, W is way more light hearted and then gets dark toward the end. But like I said throughout the season even plenty of dark stuff and messed up stuff is going on from Phillip's family being the worst family on the planet lol no exaggeration... the father made his own son and daughters part of weird experiments, had his son in law put through hell, and to top it all off, used his DEAD SON TO FURTHER HIS CRAZY CAUSE. And the mother is no different! She manipulated Accel into being powerful enough so he could be W with Philip FOR NO GODDAMN REASON and then manipulated HER OWN SON to go against Shotaro, once again FOR NO GODDAMN REASON lol So as families go, the Sonozakis do crazy like no other. So naturally because Shotaro loves Philip, it's painful to watch him struggling with self-doubt because first the son-in-law (who eventually became a good person but they killed him anyhow and it pissed me off but whatever), then Philip's sister, then his father, then the goddamed mother tries to break them up ffs talk about Family in law from HELL lol but bro have you seeeen Phillip lol he looks like an androgynous fairy how can you not fall for him hard. Ahhh okay enough rambling XD but yes I loveeee these two!

I can't believe it's Huta he looks like a different person and so mature! As for the drama loved the cast loved the way it was made but I just hate when they start writing a cheating type story and nothing ever actually happens and it's all a misunderstanding wtf is the point. It's really just half-assed. It's not properly a melodrama and not properly a romance just somewhere in between because most of these scenes were with the different couples so in the start you're made to believe there's a lot of cheating going on so it will lead to some really good twist but the twist is THAT NOTHING HAPPENED LOL wtf.
And it wasn't surprising either because really all the 'twists' the way it was done I knew they were the type to just GO THERE. Buttttt some of the scenes were downright obscene lol like a guy practically jerking off and saying those obscenities and then NOTHING AT ALL.
But regardless it was an entertaining watch with a gorgeous cast.

Most of this drama is boring propaganda. There is no reason for naming the drama mirror twins they're not symbolic of anything and the main character is a cop who is stubborn and set in his ways so you expect him to have a change of heart but nothing of the sort ever happened and that mild reaction toward the end was so unnatural. So what's the point of this story? And the characters are all very bland and feel like the same person saying similar things with different actors. I didn't feel anything at all for anyone, save maybe the criminal twin at a few points. Shame because it started out well and definitely had potential. Im just glad I'm done because I don't like dropping dramas. Btw this is my review for both seasons. Was this review helpful to you?

Even this made me laugh and cry so much ㅜ^ㅜJust as good as the actual episodes. Basically, this is what happened every time the kiss created an alternate universe when Eight went back in time. So really it's actually more like extra footage but they really worked hard on making it a proper separate story line, with suspense and intrigue and a proper resolution.
But what I love about this spin off is that not only do we see a softer side of Eight but it was also a chance for the supporting cast to show their talent. And everyone from Makenyu to Jun, and even Miyazawa Hio , we see different sides of their characters because every parallel universe leads the characters into completely different circumstances from what's happening in Eight's reality.
So you see every possible character outcome from a blond Makenyu who becomes desperate and becomes a host to a universe where Takauji, Hotei become successful, to yet another where Takauji, Hotei, Mikoto, Hasebe, all live happily ever after, to some really dark endings for the characters.
Really it was as perfect as it could have been. I only wish there are proper spin offs or prequels in the future.

Feng Xiao Gang played the title role of Mr. Six with all the depth and a bit of coldness, which is what made this film. The way he faces people who are dangerous but despite being a former gangster he follows his own moral code which basically means he doesn't hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it in his eyes, namely anyone who crossed him or screwed him over. But this film tackles a subject that you rarely see being touched -- what it's like to become old, having a failing body but your mind remains that of a young gangster. How devastating it is to watch the younger people be disrespectful just because of your age. And the irony of media that shows a forty something guy and calls him 'middle aged.' All of this is just done with such raw power as far as the actor's talent is concerned, everyone from Yi Feng to Kris just nailed it. And I love how realistic the portrayal of real poverty and the sense of desperation you feel when the only reason your child is in danger is because you don't have the ransom to pay his kidnappers. The thing about this film is it relies on raw realism. Especially that scene where Mr six tries to get the ransom money to get his son YiFeng back from Kris, that was so touching, just beautifully done.
So that father who calls you a sissy because of the way you look, doesn't suddenly go around saying keep this look, and gets super woke all of a sudden, it just shows that even someone who thinks you're 'a sissy' can still love you. But it doesn't provide justification for the wrongs the father did but when Yi Feng tells him why he resents him you can tell Mr. Six would do anything to do things different if he had the chance. And in a way the reason he wants Yi Feng to 'clean up his act' and act tough is because Mr. Six knows his own health is deteriorating and Yi Feng clearly doesn't have loyal friends so in his mind having a tough exterior will protect Yi Feng at least a little from people like Kris.
But the absolute genius of the film is the way even Kris is clearly shown to have a controlling, abusive father who basically imprisoned his own son to manipulate Mr. Six in a desperate situation because sure the girl said she snuck Yi Feng out of Kris's custody but if Kris really wanted to capture Yi Feng or hurt him he could have done it anytime, but it wasn't Kris but his greedy, selfish father who sends YiFeng to the hospital , breaks his skull. Because you can tell when Kris hears of this from Mr. Six he even apologizes and he has tears in his eyes throughout. So he was sincere.
But okay, the reason I can't give it a higher rating is honestly because the ending - it just felt trite and didn't match the rest of the film it was anticlimactic you can say. I would have been fine if it just faded to black where they show Kris crying but you don't actually see anything on screen. That scene and everything before it was so well executed! But the ending just didn't work for me, the whole son feeds birds like the father after father dies its so played out.
Still this film, despite its minor shortcomings, is a must watch.

Really hard to rate this drama. On one hand I got attached but on the other the main couple their relationship always feels a bit lacking. Good dramas they don't have to tell you someone is in love, they SHOW you. Saying these things only makes sense if I can see their bond on screen. In the absence of this it felt shallow, not just their relationship but pretty much every character acts so random , like omg I love you will become omg this guy loved you more than me lol like what XD it didn't make any sense. But the absolute worst thing about the drama, okay see I don't mind stories about second chances, and if you choose to stay in an abusive relationship, physically or emotionally abusive I mean, I completely get where you're coming from because of something called trauma bonding. But trauma bonding like Stockholm Syndrome, is something that happens to a victim of abuse and if they make bad decisions because of this very real phenomenon, I would never blame the victims. But in this drama what really made me frustrated was the way everyone around Namon kept saying 'if she's abusive so what she's your mother' WTF. And they make her feel like a villain for it! I'm sorry but if Hitler got hit by a car he would still be a genocidal monster! Imagine someone telling his victims 'oh its okay so what if he committed genocide he's hurt now feel bad for him.' People, you do not have to maintain abusive relationships because they're 'family.' So that's what I mean the writing wasn't terrible but this is their thinking ffs. But bro, Lee Thanat is so gorgeous Lol he kept making me watch lol and there were some great moments and basically this i s the drama where you think this is going to happen and it does lol definitely guilty pleasure and I really thought the beginning was really good but sank in the middle.
