wtf are you saying? she was literally a normal citizen before all this. she went through something in her past,…
I'm not asking for a trained fighter or a criminal expert. I'm asking for someone who would reasonably be in survival mode after their loved one told them to get out of dodge. That means fight like hell. Be weary of people around you. Run when your loved one is telling you to run. That's not unrealistic.
So far I'm liking it enough to keep watching but Hui Ju pisses me off. Annoyingly slow, weak, and dumb. After a while I lose interest and sympathy for the fragile damsel in distress. When can I get a leading lady who summons her feminine prowess and gets into survival mode? Who fights like HELL against attackers and beats them to shit so they can't get back up? Who acts calm to not arouse suspicion? Who practices common fucking sense?!
This is a weird ass movie. The Amazon description made it seem so ridiculously scandalous that I'm like, no way, it can't be that. And yes, it was that.
I found that japanese lady extremely rude with her words....she said to muhee, "we were dating then his heart…
I guess I misinterpreted the convo between Muhee and the pregnant lady about her far along she was. I thought Muhee was only dating him for a few months and started after she was pregnant so my whole perspective is Muhee being the side chick. Which made me read the pregnant lady's words as hurt and jealousy that the side chick had a whole over her man. I got it now. Thanks.
The ratings is 8.4, the few negative comments won’t stop people when the ratings is this high, and your comment…
They're just like kpop stans. They take personal offense if you don't like whatever's currently the object of their obsession. They're weirdos with no life who spend their whole day policing online forums and arbitrarily shooting up ratings like they'll win anything at the end. It's mind-bogglingly stupid.
I'm half way through episode 1 and I feel like at some point I've been dropped into the middle of the story. On top of that, Mr. Ju's decision to defend Mu-hee against the pregnant woman made no sense to me. Mu-hee was the one being rude and confrontational. And why are we picking fights with the Japanese lady and not the guy she's after?
Random: I love Eun Ho's home. First time I've seen a drama create a family home that truly felt like kids live there. So many are just cold, minimalist and feel like store catalogs.
I decided to rewatch and really enjoyed this show like I did two years ago. But their explanation for how I-jae prepared everything through his lives made little sense... on top of the fact he was just going through the motions the first few lives before even realizing the connection. He couldn't have prepared for Tae-u's takedown from Life #1.
Attention seeking. I thought they were already married. After 10 years, why bother now? It's not special after…
No comment on the 'attention seeking' remark as I don't follow them, or really any celebs' personal updates. But I also raised an eyebrow at learning they had been dating for 10 years. After 3-5 years if you don't already know that you want to make this person your life partner, you are wasting your time, especially if this relationship started after 25 years of age. These marriages tend to fall apart soon after tying the knot because the ring/ceremony was an appeasement rather than a willing step.
But I hope this is an anomaly and they're genuinely happy with each other.
Gyuri fucking annoys me. I cannot stand nosy, entitled people.
Edit: And I guess she's supposed to give "Main Character" energy but it is not working for me. It doesn't come off natural. It's more irritating than anything.
This season was a complete waste of everyone's time. They just spent this time to set up the American spin-off
They did the same stupid shit with Squid Games' ending. No one wants an American spinoff. Americans were watching the originals just fine. It's so lazy and a cash grab.
Anybody know where I can watch this in the US with English subs? Netflix Korea doesn't offer English subs. :( I found one site but it only gives you 14/16 episodes and makes you pay for the rest.
Sometimes I wonder if people define "chemistry" just by visual compatibility. There was no chemistry between the main leads. It felt forced and awkward. And it would've been too on the nose of a higher-up dating a direct subordinate. And ML spent most of the time missing and mourning his marriage with the ex-wife than he ever did being curious about Hyo-min. It wasn't until the last 1-2 episodes did he even remotely consider her as a potential partner, and still dismissed it the moment he was confronted with it. FL clearly is physically attracted to him in a very superficial way but it doesn't seem like there was much emotional attraction there. And certainly not worth pushing/exploring when he's her boss. 2nd couple had way more chemistry/compatibility hence it worked out. You could tell it was undeniable that 2ML was crushing on Min-jeong, dropping all the clues. It was also clear they had a personal connection that could be explored beyond friendship the moment one of them triggered it, in this case it was 2ML.
Not every drama needs to have a stereotypical ending.
I'm on episode 6 and everything was going good until they put this woman in a fat suit. No way. It looks comical. They could have and should have come up with any other back story than this.
I think the plot would be stronger if the glasses were not used as a plot device to pass this ability onto others. I worry no sufficient explanation will be given in the remaining 4 episodes as to who created them, when, why, and how they landed with the first character we were introduced to with them. It's easier to write off a supernatural ability because you can suspend disbelief from that plot point better.
But I hope this is an anomaly and they're genuinely happy with each other.
